I just used those as prime examples. Time Force wasn't very clear on their relationship with the year 3000, that's where the Zords came from and had to return to refuel. The truth is that in their premise the morphers and gear was stolen by the Rangers, I'd imagine if the Red Ranger morpher got returned to Time Force properly they would have reset the settings. All that explains the limited team composition.
So the plot is again "We need to protect the mcguffins that give us super powers from the bad guys"?
Huh. So the Dino Super Charge Christmas episode is properly in continuity with the regular series finale, and happens afterwards.
It also shows that Sledge's ship has actual escape pods. That takes care of the obvious plot hole, that Heckyl/Snide easily could get away in. Of course, this also means that the guy is still out there, but also means that somehow he got separated in the new timeline. I think the actual idea was this was supposed to be before Heckyl actually touched the Dark Energem.
I'll look at the Ninja Steel thing later.
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol.I noticed a Fearcat from Operation Overdrive in that trailer...looks like they're taking full advantage of the "galactic game show" concept for the villains to reuse old suits
Makes sense batlady from Mystic Force was one of Sledge's prisoners.
Mileena MadnessOf course, Necrolai had to have escaped, considering what happened to her in MF itself.
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol.It occurs to me that Ninja Steel will be the first PR season to not have a black or green ranger.
I almost said Jungle Fury but I remembered the Spirit Rangers.
Where there's life, there's hope.Given the balls-up that was Super Megaforce, I'm a bit worried at what that might entail.
The Identity of the Power Rangers Comic's New Evil Ranger Has Been Revealed

haven't seen those since In Space
That costume is trying too hard.
Also, it's a green and white ranger costume mixed up, like, who's in it is obvious.
Straight out of Back To The Future.
Mileena MadnessListened to the theme on a better sound choice. Not bad. Kind of eh compared to the other 3 Saban themes. I prefer Samurai, Megaforce, and Dino Charge's.
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol.I like the music but it says "Go, Go Power Rangers" too much. It sounds nice the first time but it loses the magic if repeated too much.
Also what were the villains supposed to be in the sentai, demons or something? Cause its funny how the main trio of baddies are supposed to be aliens yet they have obviously, visible Japanese elements in their designs
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."In the Sentai they were all humans who died and came back as Yokai with like one exception who may or may not be adapted into Ninja Steel/its sequel.
Also: Ninninger Galaxy.

Man, Super Sentai is dark

Depends on the season.
Super Sentai is always more cavalier about killing people than Power Rangers is, or just invoking death.
Though in other ways they can also be far more... childish for lack of a better term?

That's a pretty good description of Japanese media vs. American media in general, I feel.
De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.Well brace yourselves for this the villains in the upcoming super sentai...are aliens :V
Mileena MadnessAre they ever NOT aliens? Why not just normal humans? That'd be interesting.
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.Weren't some human-made robots, and mutants? I don't know if Frax's Japanese version started off as human as well.
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol.
Which is sort of a plot hole that Ninjor's powers he gave to Tommy somehow match the suit Zordon had made. o_O
Lightspeed Rescue does sort of explain it. First they tried artificial robotic rangers, that failed. Then they began working on making extra rangers, but that proved difficult and dangerous, the Titanium Morpher was unstable and it took the bad guys to somehow fix it.
The REAL confusing one you don't bring up is Time Force. How does a law enforcement organization have ONE ranger? Who must absolutely not die coz if he does the other morphers they have (which are not assigned to anyone) won't work. So they have one ranger... And the situation where they might want to deputize more (coz that ranger is incapacitated) they won't be able to because said ranger is needed for the other rangers to morph.
Wut.
