The one who was constantly rumored to hate and regret the role was Kamen Rider Kuuga's Joe Odagiri, but even he said he does not regret it.
Also it seems like Power Rangers really is dead now. I guess it had a good run.

The sad, REAL American dichotomyWell there are no news about it and everything points out this is the end. I would love to be wrong though.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.Cosmic Fury was the final season of the show as we know it because they're planning on making another movie "universe" and a new form of the tv show.
We'll have to wait and see how either of those go :/

Welp, add that to the list of Terrible Ideas That I Knew Were Terrible Ideas But Did Anyway...If I could suggest something I would suggest a series on The CW aimed at families rather than just kids. It would still adapt Sentai and appeal to old fans AND kids. I saw The CW has a deal with Hasbro and this makes a lot of sense. People dont know it but Power Rangers Lost Galaxy did numbers The CW wishes they could have now

Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.Sometimes franchises go on hiatus or retool. That doesn't make it dead. And I definitely don't see how "a couple stars of a related series are guests at a convention" signals death.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyGosh, I didnt see that as related, that's Kamen Rider. I dont get why we are even discussing that here.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here....? really?
A convention for this franchise, one derived from Super Sentai, invites guests of a very popular series with similar themes that has directly crossed over with Super Sentai, and that doesn't seem related to you?
The sad, REAL American dichotomyIronically, you are right, it IS derived from Power Rangers, it is the Power Morphicon after all. It's more derived from Power Rangers than it is Sentai. I know its a catch all Toku con by now. Sorry I was frustrated because people kept associating my posts with the Kamen Rider guests which I never intended. I know Power Morphicon is all about Toku.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.@wanderlustwarrior It's a reference to both a meme and actual part of Kamen Rider Decade's backstory (he is called the Destroyer of Worlds after all even at the very beginning of his opening theme) as well as Hasbro itching over wanting to reboot Power Rangers after Cosmic Fury ended.
And AegisP is right, the one Kamen Rider actor who supposedly regretted his role was Joe Odagiri.

Other Japanese actors announced for this year's Power Morphicon so far are Izumi Shiro (Dragon Ranger), Ozawa Ryota (Gokai Red), Koike Yui (Gokai Pink), Satou Kenta (Red Turbo from Kosouku Sentai Turboranger w/c is not Power Rangers Turbo), and Shishido Masaru (OhRed).

Also I love how Sentai's very own first Teenage with attitude red ranger won the poll for most popular Red Ranger. God I love him.
I LOVE YOU TURBO RED!

Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.Turboranger was a wild series. One Monster of the Week was turning people into Sengoku-jidai versions of themselves w/o any memory of how technology works, another was force-fusing people into huge spheres a la Katamari Damashii in order to skewer them and feed them to the Big Bad, the Butt Monkey among the evil commanders, Zulten, built a Killer Robot version of himself and Zulten himself turns into a silly-looking ATV, a palm tree-themed Monster of the Week was trapping people in Ambiguously Pacific Islander-style masks (the episode also had the Rangers' being cheered on during an unmorphed fight by a Pacific Dance Troupe doing a dance that vaguely looks like an attempt at a Haka). Not to mention their Mission Control consists of the Japanese equivalent of Doc Brown (minus the hair and De Lorean) and a fairy living in a doll house.
Re: Kamen Rider actors. I'm not too surprised some Kamen Rider actors are appearing. I am surprised none of them are from Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight.
I never watched Turboranger but I did see the Turboranger episode of Gokaiger. I assume the villain thirsting hard for him has something to do with his popularity.
GIVE ME YOUR FACEWe do have a Kamen Rider thread. But yeah, there seems to have been an uptick in Japanese actors visiting the west. I don't know how much they actually earn from conventions but if it can cover the additional expenses then why not I guess.
There's no signs of any PR stuff any time soon, the reboot is allegedly still coming but we've heard nothing of substance. Just wait and see really.
Wouldn't be surprised if he shows up, but they seem to be rattling through the Japanese guests first. Which makes sense, they're announcing them further in advance likely because they probably need to schedule further in advance.
Welp, add that to the list of Terrible Ideas That I Knew Were Terrible Ideas But Did Anyway...Stephen Ford (main actor for KR Dragon Knight) is still fairly active, think he's done a few con appearances in the past. Dragon Knight isn't remembered very fondly, or remembered much at all, but the few fans it does have obviously overlap quite a lot with PR and other toku.
x4 That's actually Carranger you're referring to. In fact, it's actually a running joke that Turboranger and Carranger kept getting confused for each other (the Gokaiger episode also made the same joke).

If we're in need of topics during the franchise's current hibernation, I heard a tabletop RPG recently came out? Anyone know anything about that?
I had a look at it. It's really rough. Not worth getting into. Just make some 5e homebrew.
GIVE ME YOUR FACEI wouldn't recommend 5e homebrew, D&D really isn't built for that kind of thing. There are more niche systems/modules designed exactly for this (I haven't actually played any of them but Henshin! or Savage Tokusatsu for example). There's also some based off anime or cartoons that could work, and some general superhero ones like Mutants and Masterminds.
Henshin! isn't very crunchy but I guess a PR tabletop shouldn't be very crunchy.
Unrelated but I find it weird how they're hardly seems to be any Cosmic Fury merch. Are there even any action figures available? I know they were planned but did they even get a release? Or is Hasbro just leaning on unsold Dino Fury stock?

GIVE ME YOUR FACE
Kurata? That’s a surprise. Isn’t he fairly infamous for being the only ex-Kamen Rider to outright regret the role? Or was that someone else?
