Wait till Baro has the Prisma Skana to sell it?

I bought a Skana Riven from a friend to use with my Prisma Skana and I gotta say, at least this little bit did actually work to make the old weapon see some use again.

I was just annoyed that I even got one for the Skana, but if I can use it for the prisma, I should be okay...

You can use Rivens for variants. E.g. no Supra Vandal Rivens exist and the Supra Vandal accepts Supra Rivens. The best way to check whether a weapon is a variant or its own thing is to check the wiki — if it's listed in parentheses after its "parent" it's a variant, but if it's got a separate spot in the category it's its own thing. E.g. when you see "Braton (MK1, Prime, Vandal)" you can tell that the Mk-1 Braton, Braton Prime and Braton Vandal are all variants of the Braton, while seeing "Cernos (Prime, Rakta)" separated from "Mutalist Cernos" by a bunch of other things tells you that Cernos Prime and Rakta Cernos are variants of the Cernos while the Mutalist Cernos is its own thing.

Sooo... last post was on May 4th? That's... a while ago.

Any thoughts on the Saryn rework? I find her to be... inconsistently strong. Sometimes I'd cast her spores and murder everything on screen while the damage counter ramps up to 3k. Other times, it'd barely get to 500 before dying.

Also; could I request a clan invite for a new Tenno?

Have been a bit busy, though the GUI updates I see on twitter all make me look forward to that patch.

Buffs and nerfs by DE can vary wildly. They have great passion for Warframe and game development as art, but tend to derp with boring stuff like numbers and finer mechanic polish. Sometimes balancing can do squat as far as actual effect is concerned, and sometimes hillarity like Synoid Simulor happens.

As for invite... eeeeh, sister clan is full. Maybe Marc has good news. Tho I doubt it.

I'll need to check, but I'm fairly certain the main clan is full-house too.

Correct, we have downsized to a Ghost Clan (maximum is ten clanmates) a good while ago. We used to be a Shadow Clan (maximum is 30 clanmates), but the cost for building/researching new stuff was getting prohibitive.

We now have two sister clans linked by an alliance and it's working decently well, as far as I'm concerned.

So that's what the "Ghost" part was for.

Got a renown pack yesterday, so I have enough plat to get Khora, but that'll be the majority of my plat. Use it up or wait for a coupon?

My opinion: Buying a weapon or warframe should be the lowest priority when you have plat. Things like weapon/warframe slots and cosmetics can only be acquired with plat, whereas weapons and warframe can be acquired by playing.

If you looked at Khora's profile video and decided you must have her, then sure, buy her with plat. But for me, that's not a good use of plat.

So far, I have purchased 2 frames with plat and a couple weapons. In each case, they were Darvo deals with massive discounts. In the case of the frames 90% off, which put the cost down only slightly above the cost of the included slot+potato.

The only other situation where I would buy them with plat is if I looked at the farming requirements and said "Not only no, but HELL NO".

Either that or in that fanciful far off day when there are no more "plat only" things that I want.

Only warframe I ever bought was Mesa and Ivara; the farming requirements for both of those are bullshit, and are not worth my limited time.

That's the case for me here; I don't mind farming for Khora's blueprints (I like Sanctuary Onslaught, fight me as the kids say) but I'm not wasting my time trying to get kavat genes.

Also, a few months into this game, I ran into a big windfall, bought a lot of plat, and bought a lot of slots for frames and weapons. Only reason I'd need to hang onto plat now is if I wanted to hurry up something in the foundry. Or, again, if I didn't wish to farm for a frame.

I bought Mesa and nidus when they were both on supersale like... november/decemberish? Then Zephyr Prime Access (+Weapons & Cosmetics), and Loki/Ember unvaulting, then recently Khora.

You know what I just said about DE struggling with balance. This does not apply to recent Saryn changes. Cheap, massive, continuously spreading damage which works while Saryn is hiding in some fucking hole is perfectly fine. :P

Saryn's rework is getting a rewok, tho. At least according to Pablo's twitter.

I just wish her cast was in a cone (like Volt) instead of pixel perfect. Sometimes the reticle is juuuust one pixel off the target and you get INVALID TARGET.

Hell, if they can add a second augment that lets her cast her spores in a 90 degree cone at reduced casting range, I'd buy that in a heartbeat.

I can toss you an invite to the clan I'm in currently, but it's not exactly a clan for people who mind cursing (or have thin skin) — while (most) of my clannies are nice guys, most of them are also kinda dumb.
We have all the research done (excepting a bunch of pigments) and a nice dojo, though.

If we have 10 members, we're full.

I can check the activity level after work, to maybe kick an inactive player, but no más.

Well she works in a 95% male office, so she'll be fine. Probably. Don's suppose there's giant robots in the dojo though? XD
