I wasn't really convinced by her original kit, and the new version doesn't really seem better.

It's basically:

1. Whip
2. Snare someone (or more people)
3. Summon kitty
4. Snare more people

I can't say I'm really interested in her at all, other than for the sake of collection.

I'm sorry but how is summon kitty not enough reason on its own to get Khora? You can have 2 cats on a mission at the same time now. What's not to love?

This is largely my opinion as well. EXTRA KITTY. I'm not hating her I just think she needs more innate range.

Current Ideas on the dev team seem to be "1 now spreads 2, rather than breaks it. Venari is now permanent, with 3 being a mode switch" Obviously that could change but that sounds promising atm.

It's fine. I've been hopping on daily while staying on the east coast now. I have to agree that Khora's kit is very niche and that it feels better fit to have at low to mid level usage.

I hate Fossa mission. Is getting a new war frame this antagonising I have System and Neuroptic why can't it drop chassis 37.2% IS A LIE!!!!!

You think 37.2% dropchance is bad? Try farming for a mod with 0.05% dropchance from an uncommon enemy.
Honestly, if grind grinds your gears (pun not intended) that much, Warframe probably isn't the game for you.

My actual opinion on kavats is that they are super useful, but they are my least favorite pets.

My ""opinion"" is that I hate kavats, especially mine. Running gag and all.

Well forget about Moon and Eris defense, Sanctuary Onslaught Elite is a real mine for affinity, you can level forma'd weapons and frames really fast there.

Also, I managed to buy a 120% Crit chance and damage riven for my Opticor, that thing is pure murder now.

Except you cannot take unmaxed frames to the elite variant, unfortunately. Or rather, fortunately for all the people player in public out there.

I think even normal only allows maxed Frames

But I think I need to get some more Madurei lenses for this.

Well, forget about the frames then. Though I managed to grind a rank 0 Opticor to 30 in a single run.

I've been taking level 0 secondaries/melees in and just doing all my work with my primary. 8 levels in normal gets to 29 or 30. 9 levels pretty much guarantees 30.

Probably going to stat one of my Banshee Prime's mod loadouts as Focus/Affinity grinder. As much range as possible, strength and efficiency, I'm thinking. Primed Flow even if I've rarely topping 250 energy in that mode. No Duration since Resonating Quake mod.

Hrm, gonna need a Fleeting Expertise.

That and finally build that Eidolon Lens I've been having in my inventory for months...

So... I'm wondering if I should make the plunge into Warframe. Would now be a good time, or should I wait until some special event comes along? And are there any special first-time sign up code bonuses I could get from any particular sites or forumites here?

Make sure that Resonating Quake's efficiency is not affected by duration, before removing every single duration mods.

TBH, special events are the worst time to join Warframe. The biggest reason why is that the early game experience can be really confusing, and normally you don't want to figure out the base of the game while simultaneously learning the mechanic of a new event or something of the like. Also, with the starting gear, partaking in events won't be particularly accessible to you.

I think the best time to join is after medium-sized updates, such as we had last week. People are usually coming back to play the new content and you can expect a few people to partake in other activities, such as helping new players.

I checked the Wiki for the Augment, it's not.

Mainly because it's turning the Channel of the ability in a single pulse.

Hello peeps! Been playing WF for exactly a month and I love it. But it can be... difficult, annoying and tedious at times.

How is everyone's impression of the game? Anything you love, like, dislike, hate and more?

I really wish some things weren't a tedious grind. I understand DE needs to make money by having plat, buying for plat and more but c'mon.

Also, the alliance chat is full of people who can be less than pleasant. In 7 days, I got into scuffle with 4 of them, who got themselves landed on ignore list. The clan I'm at is cool and friendly, tho.

Edit: forgot to say but ho crap, I am addicted to this game. Every day I spend too much hours on it. I just can't stop! Except when few days come and lose will completely... only to return the next day. Oh yeah, in-game I'm Tejichma. Willing to help out anyone! Just not late-game stuff, _still_ haven't gotten to quests like Second Dream or War Within.
