Yeah, that's my build, just swapping Blind Rage and Streamline for Eternal War and Narrow Minded. I just thought about Streamline or Blind Rage somewhere, but... er, better if you look at what a mess the Connelly of one year ago did. 3 fething Vazarin polarities, so now I can't really move Narrow Minded away. I don't even remember why the hell I unpolarized the aura slot; maybe to be free to use Corrosive Proyection and Steel Charge, I guess.
Anyway yes, the biggest problem I find with Valkyr is getting a satisfactory balance of stats. The nice thing with Eternal War is that with some duration and power she becomes the envy of all industrial space blenders with a reasonable max time limit before loosing the buff, but you loose so much range and efficiency that you can't really spam Ripline as you intend (and you have to practically shout Paralysis into the victim's ear to make any effect).
I hear you.
You should keep in mind that a Ripline/Paralyze build would be very niche, and the only advantage would be the efficiency in focus point yield.
There are a few factor that affects your affinity yield:
- Kill output.
- Obviously higher is better.
- Equipment.
- Having less equipment will concentrate the TEAM affinity to the ones you have equipped, instead of spreading it.
- Weapons will get more affinity when you use them (same with Frames). It sounds obvious, but sometimes people rely on TEAM affinity to level stuff and the leveling is done much slower.
- Kill quality.
- Different units gives different affinity. Unit TYPE usually has a bigger sway in affinity number than LEVEL. This means that you might be better off wiping out the small fry and use favored equipment to kill eximii or heavies. Now of course, that's not always easy.
My point basically is that you might be better off with a Warcry build anyway, cause you'll lower the kill output too much if you try to focus on the equipment used. MAYBE start using abilities on higher quality enemies to marginally increase your gains.
Looked into the site again....more speculation and curiosity.
[DATA LOST]Barring [DE]lays, TWW can be expected later this week.
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundapprox. 3 G Bs? not too bad i suppose.
[DATA LOST]It seems more and more that Teshin is up to no good. What I think tho is that DE is purposefully trying to make his actions look worse than they really are.
Ya it's actually pretty goddamned small. I think that the consoles received recently a 22 Gb update.
The twitch site has a really weird video right now
[DATA LOST]Damn, the Queen's anti-drug video really hits hard. Don't do drugs, children!
I don't do that sort of thing, but that's still freaky as all sin!
[DATA LOST]Lesser update to the teaser site.
Teshin makes a comment about new strength that comes with new weaknesses.
It's intriguing; Obviously we are getting a new system with buffs as strong as Unairu but weaknesses balanced as if it was for Zenurik (Which is to say, bad buffs packaged with big debuff).
FIIIIIIIIIIIIINE, I'll be the sucker who listens to mom and does as she says while everyone else has fun misbehaving. Of course I have to unlock Sedna relay before dreaming about TWW. Still have four sentients, one trial and a boss fight with Warframe's very own Donald Trump left.
And before I forget, I should warn you that Shadow Stalker has grown much more dangerous since I last met him. He blew up defence objective twice in a row. Motherfucker cheats. You got to respect that.
You know more than I, I wasn't aware that obeying Lotus was a pivotal moment.
What I heard made me think that this was just a "moment of no return warning".
Honestly, it's not that I don't wanna help figure out the options of the quest, but I kinda wanna go blind and see where it goes. I realize I run the risk of getting the equivalent of Unairu in a new system, but fortune favor the bolds. A couple of years ago, I was insane for using the Tigris.
Who's laughing now, strawmen?!
Why do I have the feeling that Tenshi is an Orokin?
Inter arma enim silent legesBecause he is. I don't recall where specifically it is said, but it's obvious that he has been alive for a long while.
I got a very weird mission load screen. The Liset, loading bar and play tip all appeared, but then the screen glitched slightly and some red Orokin writings started appearing. Nothing unusual during the mission though.
Wait, is that obeying-Lotus-and-get-your-story-altered a thing already in game or for this next update?
I just saw the TWW trailers, up to where you see the operator walking on a storm. Makes me think they didn't implement these operator related content for nothing; you don't give players a choice to personalize anything in an online game if its not to share it between each other. Does the focus skills give time to other players to get any kind of meaningful look to the projections? Haven't seen anyone's yet but seems like not.
Right now your operator sits on the Liset and does nothing in there but that trailer seems to imply they will actually go out somewhere without a warframe; I could be wrong, but I'd say its obviously playable content. The bulk of the game will surely be centered around the warframes jumpin' 'n shootin' but It'd be interesting to see some action with the operator; maybe quests of a more personal kind given their more fragile nature. Think about it. Before, Tenno only knew themselves as weapons, but now they are in their own skin and remember their past lives. Wouldn't it make sense that they'd want to recover that time lost?
Maybe a quest searching the remnants of the ship where they suffered the accident, trying to find some closure. Maybe you could hang around Tenno stations without a warframe, open some different options for players socialization, or just seeing these child soldiers having a little short fun time for once in their warfaring lifes for a change (Baro flipping out at first at the implication that his dear Inaros, Hammer of Heretics, Plague of the Mars Sands, being a fething child not unlike him when he lost his mother... then maybe warming up to his customers' real faces. Liset toy decorations for a few ducats, anyone? ). It wouldn't (shouldn't) detract from the main gameplay, and could provide some side motivation for anyone looking for more character driven narrative. Or maybe I'm crazy, who knows!

Lotus' thing is not in game yet. Hopefully will be today.
Also, the glitch thing is an old teaser for second dream.
About the operator: The leukemia patient grew on me over time, but I don't really want him to be more relevant. My reaction would entirely depend on DE's implementation, because otherwise I am not getting my panties twisted over the concept.
War Within starts shortly!!!!!
[DATA LOST]So, Riven mods... are kind of shit.
i have no idea how it works aside from needing the medallions
[DATA LOST]"Complete a solo Interception mission with 30lv enemies or higher while you have a Hobbled Dragon Key equipped"
What.
Quest finished. Found a few bugs (first missions not loading objectives and radio transmissions unless you start them manually from the star chart, or the mountain tunnels becoming pitch black and even soundless. Loosing both sight and sound in the Transference tutorial was FUN >_> , but overall the story and new tileset were good.

I think that was intended because I also had the same problem.
Inter arma enim silent leges
Not necessarily. I do not know the details of your build, but if you managed to get kills with the rest of her kit, it would amount to the same. Hysteria is probably more flashy, but Ripline has a combo system that can increase it's damage, and it scales with duration so it might work with a Warcry build.
You'd want a lot of stats at once tho, so it might be problematic. I do not think the damage scale very well either, so it would be the most useful in low or mid levels.
The way I would build it is probably like this:
I'd need to toy around, but I think that would be the best build to have a mix in Ripline damage and Warcry potential. I would dump Intensity if you really want Eternal War. If Ripline's combo really isn't working out even with Primed Continuity, replace that mod with Eternal War.
