It's just my opinion, but I think making Vauban look awesome is a double uphill battle. First you have to work off... well, Vauban.
Second, it gotta be awesome enough to make us forget about his kit. Vortex and Bastille are workable, that's about the best we can say on the matter.
I'm not worried about Fragor. How hard is it to make an ugly mace?
Even then Booben is workable if you use the Syndicate mods to improve Bastille and Vortex, his Tesla grenades aren't that much useful and Bounce is borderline useless with parkour movement.
Inter arma enim silent legesThe real knee-slapper with Vauban comes with the latest datamining I've seen.
There was a list of Warframe passives included in the files, and Vauban's passive would be to get more armor based on nearby allies.
That sent my sides in orbit. Armor! Vauban! Allies!
If I stopped laughing, I would cry!
well that sucks
yhea.... nope, the bastille augment is good i'll give you that, but the vortex one isn't, at all, there's nothing it does that simply setting up another vortex doesn't do, it's a complete waste of a slot

piggy ganon, piggy ganon, does whatever a piggy cannot...Marc, care to share that datamine page?
As for Bounce, in previous sortie we had Vauban, who found ingenious use for that skill: slap it on defense target. Not that it was needed - with Bastille, Chaos and Molecular Prime infested didn't manage to land a single hit. But no denying it was clever.
It's on Reddit but there you go.
PAX Stream overview thread
Again by AM-Bunny, based be he.
Highlights seems to be:
- New U19 frame is a Fairy Frame.
- Apparently Rebecca conceptualized this one.
- Trivia, Glen seems to have conceptualized Inaros.
- Vauban Prime, Aksomati Prime and Fragor Prime are already confirmed.
- New Sentient enemy is coming, and bringing with them a new tier of weapon. As of the writing of this, the details are hazy, but Focus seems to be involved and it is nothing less than a full arm cannon based on Sentient technology.
- A new game mode is coming to expands a bit on the Conclave syndicate. Details are few, but apparently it's based on Rocket League and Operators seems involved somehow.
- Steel Meridian seems to be involved in the next quest/event that will involve an arena.
- Seems that most Syndicate will have a personalized interaction based on this happening.
- A big announcement was cut short by the stream dying at an impromptu moment.
Only the Sentient arm cannon really caught my eye.

piggy ganon, piggy ganon, does whatever a piggy cannot...I was not expecting it to be possible to make booben look badass, but dang.
"Coffee! Coffeecoffeecoffee! Coffee! Not as strong as Meth-amphetamine, but it lets you keep your teeth!"Vauban Prime does have a flair. I also commend DE's attempt at making his kit look action-filled.
Although I guess that, in a way, Vauban is the most hardcore Warframe. He doesn't have no direct powers, just balls.
DE released a highlight of the PAX stream:
The part that was cut on the stream is the last minute or so.
It is our first look at the Twin Queens and their BBW bodyguards.

well dang aren't those two creepy?, and the BGM doesn't help, it also looks like the twin queens aren't so identical anymore, makes you wonder just what they've been through to end up so darn weird
piggy ganon, piggy ganon, does whatever a piggy cannot...I dunno about you guys, but I'm really excited. Vauban's one of my personal favorites, and I love his Prime design. Thinking about just outright buying the Prime Access this time around.
HYYYPE!!!It may be that they have different implants than eachother.
He did look pimping.
Is Warframe down for everyone here also?
Inter arma enim silent legesI logged in just fine.
Lucky son of a gun.
I imagine that RNG's price is a constant flow of Orokin cells rewards from every Void missions for the next 10 years.
Always helmets, never systems. Nothing but credit rewards, you will never see another neurode
"Coffee! Coffeecoffeecoffee! Coffee! Not as strong as Meth-amphetamine, but it lets you keep your teeth!"The missions I end up playing tend to be lousy with Nyx Prime systems blueprints. Which is actually fine by me, because I can build them all and sell them for fifty Ducats apiece.
but HOW?TIL when using the Tonkor, Argon Scope activates regardless of whether or not you actually hit an enemy's head.
HYYYPE!!!Ao E weapons can hit multiple body parts, including the head, with the same projectile. This is one of the reasons why the Sonicor manages to do so much damage, so the same can be applied to the Tonkor.
Inter arma enim silent legesAn event is on the way!
Get your party hat out, party people!
Is it that Kela De Thaym thing they've been talking about for the past few months?
HYYYPE!!!All signs points to this, I think.
Additionally, some datamining hinted at the introduction of an elite group of Grineer called Night Watch or something. It seems it is all related to Rathuum, whatever that means.
For the watch!
Inter arma enim silent leges
well that DOES look a lot like vauban and fragor, here's hoping they are both awesome.
piggy ganon, piggy ganon, does whatever a piggy cannot...
