Yeah, arena is fun. Or that's how I'm reading your post anyway. More than constructed, it creates stories and this is helped by the game being pretty balanced at the moment.
This promotion that gets more people into arena is really nice. And not just because it gives me new people to gobble up.
I've had a few entertaining games too, but I'm too lazy to write them out. So I'll link them here (the one where the opponent throws) and here (the one where I take an unnecessary risk and get punished, but with a bit of luck that just results into an exiting a game).
Watch if it may please you. Hide opponent cards and then slow the match down to play yourself for more fun. At least I've found I really enjoy that. I think the biggest reason I'm still around playing Hearthstone is that it's almost as fun to watch being played as it is to play yourself.
Yeaaaaah, no, I don't think that's the point he was going for.

Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.Somebody on Hearthpwn entertained the notion that Spirit Lash heals one ping at a time, as in, three times for 1 rather than one time for 3.
It's a minor thing, but if it does do that, it gives some oomph to the likes of Lightwarden/Hooded Acolyte/Holy Champion (in Wild). No such luck for Northshire Cleric, though.
How do lizards fly?Man, Lightwarden will be so strong this expansion.
The spell already scales with spellpower, so I'm somewhat doubtful that they'll make the heal incremental to add another scaling. I might be wrong of course, but that combo can get such high numbers so easily (Lightwarden has one of the fastest scaling damage buffs in the game. It'd be less of an issue if the buff per tick was smaller.) that I assume they'd try to avoid it. The card has enough utility already in select situations, so they'd probably avoid making hyper aggro priest viable.
Edit: Had the strangest interaction while heading to Arena just now. Paid for the run with gold, immediately after that, before the 1 free win notification I get notified that I'd been granted one free arena run ticket, then I get the free win notification and, finally, the hero select. Backed out and I can't see the ticket anywhere and the gold for the run was deducted.
Could be just some peculiar bug. Has anyone else gotten a free ticket to arena today?
Edit: Yeah, the free ticket of this week was used before this.
Also edit on the Spirit Lash: One reason to side with each bit of damage triggering an individual heal is that's how Hallazeal works now and it's sorta a similar effect.
In fact I'm all thumbs up for changing his text to "All your spells have Lifesteal". But rather even there, I'd personally prefer for it to heal in one big clump and as it currently is, it works through a card active which works differently, so shouldn't draw that many conclusions based on that.

EDIT: You mean, after you already used this week's ticket? Can't say I've encountered it. Maybe it's just a graphical glitch.

Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation. The devs explained that changing Hallazeal to give your spells Lifesteal would mean that having two Hallazeal's out won't stack the effects anymore, which is why they're planning on keeping him unchanged (unlike Succubus and Wickerflame).
Succubus doesn't have lifesteal.
Also, seeing as Hallazeal is a legendary (an unused Legendary, at that), that's sort of a weak reason.
Mixed up Succubus and Mistress of Pain.
I can buy that explanation, especially since Servant of Kalimos in Elemental Shaman is a thing.
Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.Hallazeal's effect simply isn't Lifesteal unlike the other re-worded cards. They would actually be changing the effect if they changed it to Lifesteal, and while that wouldn't come up very often it's not necessary to weaken him.
Also, this frost festival is not going to well for me - my first two games were 2-3 with the win included. Yikes. But I got 45 gold and 50 gold respectively, only losing 5 gold overall. And then I made up with it on a 6-3 run granted me 140 gold. I thiiiink maybe I should leave out Arena even with the bonus wins.
Since the week's rolling over and we might get more of those event quests, I figure I'd clear my quest log a bit, as it's quite full. But I have two of those dastardly play Priest class cards quests and no Priest deck.
So I went in to deck creator, tossed in every single half way decent Priest card into a deck so that it had only Priest class cards and went into Wild to get beat up. Went 4-0. Apparently those early Priest buffs and Inner Fire is just that good. Twice I dealt about 30 damage from a single minion by turn 6.

That combo priest is getting quite popular in wild. I don't know what your build is like exactly, but in general it can be pretty good. Do you have Lyra?
Ok.... came back to the game, needed some priest wins for a quest... quest priest steamrolls mage holy crap I went 5/0.
BEHOLD! THE GLORY OF A NEW SUN CARD REVEAL!
Ticking Abomination: 4-mana 5/6 Rare Neutral Minion. Deathrattle: Deal 5 damage to your minions.
Very hard to see how this might see play. If it had been a symmetrical board clear it might actually see some use, but unless you get some funny "reverse Deathrattle" options in the new expansion, it's just going to make your board die horribly. Even if you try to attempt some shenanigans with Eggs and Twilight Summoners, since your opponent is more likely to get to decide how to kill it off, there's a high chance that it clears your spawned tokens instead.

Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.Yeah, that's weird. Cards that are budgeted well for their cost are usually used for better board control, but this drawback wreaks havoc on that. Unless it's intended for relatively creature-lite control decks? Still don't see a creature-lite deck that wants this as one of the few creatures though.
Are they doing the GVG > TGT transition again where cards from the first expansion are too strong and then the cards from the other are so carefully "balanced" that a majority of them is unplayable in most cases?
Because outside of very specific situations in Arena, this card is pretty poopy.
How do lizards fly?I *guess* there might be a slim chance of it working in a deck which keeps only one overstatted minion on board at any time? Maybe Silence Priest (although you have much better things to do with 4 mana)? I have no idea.

Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.Guys. It's obviously meant for a very specific deck: Egg Hunter in Wild. Play eggs, play this, Feign Death. Spawn Nerubians, kill your eggs and Nerubians, try not to cry, end up crying a lot.
Ugh, I hate it when you have a mage player, and the entire game they turn out to be stalling and shove out four Sorcerer's Apprentices and an Antonidas to just fireball you into oblivion when you're on the cusp of victory.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Mirage Icecaster - Epic Priest Minion; 5 mana 5/6; Battlecry: Choose a friendly minion. Summon a 1/1 copy of it for your opponent.
So I guess Ticking Abomination is viable after all. :v Jokes aside, I guess we'll be getting more harmful Deathrattle minions to justify ever printing this bad boy.
EDIT: Admittedly, I'm not sure if this card is actually legit, so please thread carefully.

How do lizards fly?Target Doomsayer to kill the opponent's board instantly or if your 1st Doomsayer is Silenced.
Isn't a copied Silenced minion also Silenced? That said, there are all sorts of dirty tricks you could play with this guy.
If it weren't for the 1/1 stat line of the copied minion (making Pyromancer impractical), you could use it against another Priest to pull off some crazy forced draw kills with Northshire Cleric.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Bomb Squad Priest new meta?
Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.
Unless it's a character's name (like Sylvanas), a card's name is not capitalized in French when it appears in the text of a card. So "élémentaire d'eau" is right in this situation.
