How would you nerf Sulfuras? More taunts? I dont think that would really be too big of a nerf. Make it cost 4 mana to do 8 damage?

This change still isnt going to make me come back to the game, its still so horrid to any FTP player.

Sulfuras is fine

This week's brawl is All star Squad. 22 copy of 1 card, 8 random class cards.

Priest + Deathlord is pretty great, especially for all the "All Patches" decks.

The Rogue quest is the one that's truly broken. I still wish it'd treat the 5/5 change as a buff rather than an always-on effect. That way you could silence it or transform the affected minions.

The way the effect is treated makes no goddamn sense. It's not silenceable, BUT Aldor Peacekeeper works.

No, that at least makes sense. The buff is an always-on field effect, as if there were an invisible minion with an aura. As a similar example, if you have a Murloc Warleader on the board, you can't remove its effect by silencing a different Murloc. Effects applied later still stack, though, which is reasonable if you consider that it's always treated as the first effect on any minion's list.

What it should do, to avoid being so broken, is to apply an "on-summon" effect to every minion on the Rogue's side, changing its stats to 5/5. This would mean that silences would be able to strip off that effect.

No, because if you Aldor a Murloc buffed by warleader. It still gets the +2

Aldor a minion buffed the the rogue quest, it becomes a 1 attack minion.

The analogy doesn't work. I'd agree with you if Aldor didn't work on Quest Rogue minions, but it does. The effect makes no sense.

Except all the debuff effects work on Cavern. You can Sunkeeper. You can Equality. Heck, Sword of Justice will spawn 6/6.

Then you got Mirage Caller and Herald Volazj who ignore the effect and still spawn 1/1s

Nothing about the effect makes sense.

Heck, if it was an ongoing effect, then you'd not be able to damage minions, since the ongoing effect would reset their health to 5.

Well. Finally made Legend for the first time ever. FeelsGoodMan.

Also, Choose Your Champion is back, and it's an incredibly strong lineup all around from what I know.

Congrats! Welcome to the club!

I've played a lot less this month due to being burned out from try harding so much last month. It's like I don't have a reason to play anymore.

Ha, now I know exactly what you're talking about. After seesawing between Ranks 2 and 3 forever, I can safely say that the tilt is real.[lol]

EDIT: Oh hey, it's the obligatory announcement of the announcement. Expansion reveal due on July 6.

Midsummer Festival. Starts July 5. Duration unclear (2 weeks, according to the tweet?) Special Tavern Brawl - high scores give you firework effects and changed emotes? - and all quests give double Gold.

This is not what I had in mind when I asked for a Death Knight hero...

But the idea is cool. What if Lich King won, alternate future.

I'm certain I have no idea what you're talking about.

Anyways, Death Knights. I'm not sure why, but I don't feel like they're going to be deck-defining in the way that Quests were. The reliability of quests was a big thing, I think, but unless there's some kind of tutoring option introduced Deathknight decks are going to be fairly unreliable in and of themselves. I'm sure there will be a few archetypes with it added, though.

The hero cards will probably play out like Jaraxxus. You build a deck without any or very little late game except for that one card which generates a ton of value. It worked for Renolock so I'm curious how the new cards will stack up.

I'm a tad disappointed alternate heroes will turn into DK versions of the OG heroes. I understand why but it would've been cool if the heroes matched. I mean DK Morgl?!

I wonder if they are going to include Lich King Bolvar. They are definitely using Arthas right?

Three packs and a Legendary (Hero) card? Less packs than I'd hoped, but I can't complain since it's a guaranteed Legendary (albeit of unknown playability). 8 missions does seem a little short though.
