The C'Thun "buff" is a value that attaches to your Hero. It doesn't matter if the card exists in your deck or hand; it's still kept track of. I've taken advantage of this many times as Priest, having stolen my opponent's C'Thun related cards.

Wait.

Wait wait wait wait wait.

I can attest that this was stealth patched at some point, because I distinctly remember playing a game a while back as C'thun priest (against a druid) where I Entombed C'Thun and my opponent's cards continued to buff it after the fact. (Just so people know that it used to NOT work that way.)

They keep buffing their own C'Thun, which does not exist in their deck any more, but still shows the graphic.

Man this is just pissing me off I am really starting to be convinced that any variety of Rogue can not do shit in this meta with these billion shamans around. 5 matches, 4 aggro shamans, 2 different Rogue decks, 4 losses.

I wish something had really replaced Blade Flurry's Ao E capablies or if it had the ability to freaken heal again.

And I have a 5 wins Rogue quest...

No, I meant as in I drew their C'Thun and it had the statline to match their buffs, not mine. (Mine was dead and 2/2 lower, if I remember.)

[up][up] Where are those shamans? I only see pure Zoolocks tongue

It's awesome that my hunter's win condition counters most popular decks (It requires Release the Hounds + 2 Kill Commands)

[up][up][up] Funny, I haven't faced a single Aggro Shaman in days now, it's all been Midrange Shaman ever since popular players seem to have sparked to collective interest in that archetype (I blame Xixo, Loyan and TwoBiers tongue.) Miracle Rogue, which I've been playing yesterday and today, is doing just fine against those. (Mind you I'm a terrible Miracle Rogue player as I've never really played it before.) But every server and rank is different.

Dude, Miracle Rogue is a top tier deck right now. Agro Shaman is a bad match-up but there's so much else they're strong against.

Miracle Rogue tends to wipe the floor with Control Priest unless I can kill both Auctioneers with Auch+Circle.

He has a point though: Miracle Rogue punishes slower decks but suffers against aggressive ones - which are inevitably flooding the ladder, because that's Hearthstone - proactive decks are favoured.

And that's assuming you can pilot it well. I think Ryzen (noted for his Rogue play in general) once said on stream that when you start learning Miracle Rogue, you'll have a win rate of about 10%.

I think N'zoth Rogue is probably less complicated, but I hear that it faces the same problems that Raptor Rogue had pre-standard: like a certain breed of dog, it's just a Shit Zoo.tongue

My Priest deck got destroyed by a Mill Rogue using Doomsayers in place of taunts. I thought it was such a good idea that I tried it myself. Worked not terribly.

I think i faced only one Miracle Rogue today. I was playing Midrange Hunter but i got the win anyway.

I don't like playing aggro but when i see that my opponent is a Rogue i instantly enter "Smorc Mode".

Usually they are dead by turn 8 (Given that they use their hero power to trade)

If the Rogue gets a board and saps Highmane, they might win: if they don't, they die. Deadly Shot and Stranglethorn Tiger are probably good techs if you want to target Miracle Rogue specifically.

Deathrattle rogue can beat hunter, as long as they do not use Call of the Wild on turn 7 or 8.

I am watching Amaz play Reno Deathrattle Rogue right now and it is pretty decent vs the million shamans he is facing.

I need to find his deck list but it is very likely I cant afford the deck.

This week's brawl: "Shadow Towers". Your minions have Stealth on their first turn. (You also start with 10 extra Armour.)

...I knew all that Miracle Rogue training would pay off![lol]

I made a Miracle Rogue deck because I heard it was good and I knew I had the cards.

Now I'm remembering why I hated played it back in the day. I'm not a fan of sitting on my thumbs, praying that the cards I need show up, while my opponent turns my face into hamburger.

Try an N'zoth rogue or N'zoth Reno rogue instead?

I hate miracle as well, I have a very shitty winrate with it even at the best of times.

So I had two Druid quests and I figured I would play with a Yogg Druid deck that I saw floating around.

The deck kinda sucks competitive-wise, but it's a lot of fun. It runs a lot of spellpower in the form of Jungle Moonkins, Bloodmage Thalnos and an Azure Drake and attempts to control the board with cheap spells all the while using draw cards like Gadgetan and Nourish to bring you closer to unleashing Yogg.

I consistently managed to push matches to the later turns and even got to play Yogg more often than not.

My luck being what it is though, Yogg usually prioritized commiting suicide, buffing my opponent's minions, hitting me a couple of times in the face and then milling me to oblivion.

In that order.

I had a 40-gold druid/hunter quest that I wanted to save for rerolling tomorrow, so I got my pack using an enrage/deathrattle warrior. It turns out Kel'thuzad is preeetty good. (In particular, he's great with taunts, because the minions he summons don't have stealth.)

Also, is this finally the brawl where pint-sized summoner will see play?
