Seriously, I am going to murder whoever put the Lightspawn into the game. Healthspam giving you an invincible minion of doom is just not fair.
I'm having fun with a Paladin deck that does minion-boosting, though.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"That sounds like you either need some silences or hard removal. Easier said than done, I know, but Lightspawns aren't the meanest things priests can throw at you.
Ironbeak Owls are my friends.
so. got my beta code finally. Now to fail miserably at a ccg!
I'm not doing that badly. I've managed to arrive at a balance point of winning roughly half my matches, which is how it's supposed to go. I pasted Rexxar just now with Uther's minionspam.
It's just frustrating when you get faced with a bad draw and a ridiculously good one on your opponent's side.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"welp. Unlkocked Valeera. now to unlock enough rogue cards to be able to build a half decent deck.
I just played a nailbiter as Jaina against Anduin. I had one health left for the last five turns, and took him down from max to zero in that time. The clincher was getting Vaporize out and nuking his strongest minion. After that I was able to get my own minions out, finally, and start attacking him.
There must be some kind of award for that: taking an enemy down from 30 to 0 while you have 1 health left.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"That happened to me as Anduin earlier.
down to 8 life. against a still at 28 life Malfurion. Then manage to remove just enough of his shit that he runs out of steam right as I start picking up steam, tear half his life off in the span of 2 turns, and he concedes.
So far, I've lost every game I've played.
Click around the board, there are fun easter eggs.
Edit: correction, I have now won one, in the only way I know how: the opponent gives up at 20 HP.

"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984If anyone wants to become friends so we can play some matches, we could exchange Real IDs Battletags via PM.
Edit: I keep getting those two mixed up.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Yup, I really like Spellbreakers.
Ironbeak Owls are good too, but I rarely want both at the same time.
My Shaman's been doing amazingly well. Turns out Bloodlust is amazing. Who knew?
so far I'd say my favorite card is the gurubashi berserkers. In a priest deck, theyre such massive threats.
Wingofbenu#1411 if anyone wants to battletag friend me for hearthstone games
I put Gurubashi Berserkers in my Warrior deck too. Inner Rage and the mionion that has the same effect are both pretty amusing with him.
This one time I left a Berserker alive for one turn, and the enemy Priest used two Divine Spirits and an Inner Fire to do 28 damage with it. I immediately hexed it or whatever, but the damage had been done. Anyway, that has nothing to do with its ability.
The card itself is certainly threatening, but more as a magnet for all the opponent's removal and direct damage. I would never expect it to survive for very long. Probably better in a Warrior or Mage deck than a Priest, because you can trigger its ability yourself.
Yeah, it never survives for long. But it helps that it comes down right after a Shieldmasta! That poor guy never lasts long on my side of the field.
Well, I just had two interesting games with Uther. First up was against Thrall, who used a Murloc armada to obliterate me. I never even stood a chance. Second was against another Uther player, and this time I pulled off a combo of an Enraged Worgen with Blessing of Wisdom to cardspam him. Both were curbstomps. It's kind of funny how that can happen. I prefer more even battles, personally.
What I see is that most strategies revolve around being the one with the minions that stay up longer. It really is that simple.
Edit: I had a lot of fun in one match by casting Blessing of Wisdom on my opponent's minions, then not killing them. Forced him to choose between giving me cards and leaving them idle.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Enraged Worgen is another favourite of mine, up there with Youthful Brewmaster!
I'll be sad when Hearthstone goes live and I lose my golden versions of both.
I thought beta players could keep all their stuff at live. I'll have to dig up the relevant posts...
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Yeah, I'm pretty sure they said that they have no plans for any future wipes. That doesn't mean there won't be any unplanned wipes for whatever unforeseen reasons, but it implies that the end of beta is not considered a wipe-worthy event.
If I had to say I had a favorite card. it'd be Thoughtsteal.
also. Note to self. dont bother with spending money on arena, because it'll be a cold day in fucking hell where I can build a draft deck that isnt a giant pile of shit.

I got a Cairne Bloodhoof the other day from an Expert pack. He's pretty awesome; I love the "destroy him and he comes right back" aspect.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Earth Shock!
That's from the beta invite email. It sort of implies there'll be one, but I'll admit that it is also worded loosely enough to just mean wipes during the beta.
No one ever expects you to silence your own minion and cure freeze though.
