I tried experimenting with some different classes for a Dragon Deck today. I decided to try a Dragon Warlock... and promptly lost to a Zoo Paladin. How fitting.
Mudkip's final evolution is in fact NOT Mudkipperino. So, I got the "watch a friend win in Spectator Mode" quest.
Except I don't have any friends on Hearthstone as of yet.
Can I add some of you to do this quest? A card pack is a tasty reward that I don't want to pass up.
I am Optimatum#1763 if you'd like to add me.
Got the pack, got nothing special out of it, but hey, better than nothing.
In any case, now I'm back to the exercise in frustration and EVEN MORE FRUSTRATION. AKA Paladin Class Challenge, Nax. I am playing this so much I am leveling my Paladin up (it's the only one I haven't unlocked all the basic cards for - and I've gone from level 2 to level 6 using this class Challenge alone. The point, as far as I can tell, is Echoing Ooze buff transers, but it's way to slow for him, since he's dealing two damage a turn to me , and has generally more powerful cards. I can't reliably make these combos happen without waiting until we get to 5/6 mana, at which point he's wrecking my shit and I can't keep those combos on the board long enough for them to actually DO anything. I'll invariably go through cards faster than him, leaving me top-decking and him sitting comfortably on a two/three card hand to stay ahead of me in the advantage game. Does anyone have ANY suggestions for me here? Because this is DAMN frustrating and making me just want to not play this anymore, because it fucking sucks once you blow through your combos and draw say...Divine Favor when you're both topdecking and he's got no cards (WHY IS THAT CARD THERE FOR HEAVENS SAKE), or Echoing Ooze when he topdecks a Sludge Belcher.
Fucking hell this challenge. It's always gone to a topdeck game, and he always wins that.
EDIT: N Ot to mention the complete lack of taunts for you to actually stop him from hitting you with.
EDIT 2: I have also come to loathe his win quotes because they're fucking annoying after hearing them 2/3 times each.
EDIT 3: Beat him because I topdecked Consecration exactly when I needed it and no other reason, he'd have wrecked me if I'd drawn anything else.

If it's any consolation, the Naxx Paladin challenge is considered by many players to be one of the worst-designed. Just look back in this thread for examples of our irritation.
Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.Indeed, that's why they changed the decks and made it easier.
The problem with the original class challenge was that you basically only had 2 HP minions and Kel'thuzad played stuff like Blizzard, Abomination and Twisting Nether to clear your flooded board.
Oh, I could tell. At least by the time I beat it all I needed to hit level 10 was a single win in Ranked.
So I managed to pull out a combo of Poison Seeds + Soul of the forest.
It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothesWith Thaurissan, I wonder if someone's going to try to pull off a Force of Nature + Soul of the Forest + Poison Seeds combo, although that sounds better in my head than it would probably work in practice...
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"People are too busy to play Force of Nature + double Savage Roar after playing Thaurissan to do the Poison Seeds combo.

Beat the first wing of Blackrock easily, first try for all of the bosses and challenges. The Dark Iron Arena was a bit crippled since it seemed to be drawing all of the high Mana cards that it couldn't play, though. The Mage Class Challenge was fun since I had to play around an early Cho, and got to abuse Illidian and the Violet Teacher for lots of minion spawning goodness.
I got my first wing finally. I have yet to try and tackle heroic but seriously Faerlinna made me weep. Finally got her with my Warrior deck though. The rest were very easy.
But I am depressed I cant complete quests in solo adventure mode.
It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothesFaerlina is easy-peasy; just use a zoo deck.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"You can complete the 7 win quest in adventure mode.
Yeah but you can complete that against normal innkeeper decks too so it is not like a huge plus
It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothesSort of an older video. It's a shame that Majordomo came out this awful.
Its a fun card, that is pretty much all it was ever meant to be.
Ragnaros should start with 8 armor or something. That would make it playable.
I mean, his hero power is not even that powerful when you compare to Jaraxxus.

A card so much fun it's not used!
Anyway, so anyone follow the Hearthstone mythbusters video, where they test myths and mechanics from the game?
Not only that, but Jarraxus triggers on your terms, and comes with a weapon besides his power.

8 armor and 8 health would be nice, it might be a little OP though at that.
Anyway I broke down and bought the last 2 wings of Blackrock... Then used the 1100 gold I had saved up for packs. I got a Golden King Krush, Iron Juggernaut, and Flame Leviathan. I have no idea what I want to do with them.
So, my dragon Mage vs a dragon Priest. A onesided fight in his favor until I stabilise with an antique heal bot and disable his Ysera by running most of my board into it. I'm at 7 hp, he is full. I have Ysera and Nefarian in hand. He got 3 cards, and this late in game you know what a Priest will have there. I play Nefarian and get a MC and a light of the naaru. He conceded after I M Ced my Neferian back.
“You can’t be an important and life-changing presence for some people without also being a joke and embarrassment to others.” -Mark Manson.I will never, ever understand why this warlock surrendered against me. I just used thoughtsteal twice, and mind vision twice, an he must have assumed "WHELP. He got my everything. Better surrender now".
I had absolutely nothing of use.
It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothesUsing those two spells is a big sign of a control or steal priest. Games vs those take forever in addition to the fact that various lock decks are hard countered by it.
You know what I'd like to do? I'd like to take part in another troper Hearthstone tourney. I feel like I've reached the point where I can actually win one of these with my decks.
Anyone who assigns themselves loads of character tropes is someone to be worried about.
