Revealed cards:
- Dark Iron Skulker — Rogue, 5 mana, 4/3 — Battlecry: Deal 2 damage to all undamaged enemy minions.
- Suuuuuper backstab! Pretty fun against aggro decks.
- Grim Patron — Neutral, 5 mana, 3/3 — Whenever this minion survives damage, summon another Grim Patron.
- Combo this card and you'll have infinite minions! That all die to Flamestrike or Auchenai+Circle.
- Hungry Dragon — Neutral, 4 mana, 5/6 — Battlecry: Summon a random 1-cost minion for your opponent.
- Stats are insane, but there's some risk.
- Blackwing Technician — Neutral, 3 mana, 2/4 — Battlecry: If you are holding a dragon, gain +1/+1.
- Give something away about your hand for an extra stat point over the typical 3 mana minion.
- Rend Blackhand — Neutral Legendary, 7 mana, 8/4 — Battlecry: If you are holding a dragon, destroy a Legendary minion.
- A super-costed BGH with a different focus. Might be too situational to work. Also, high attack, low health minions are rarely good.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I'm guessing that would only be viable if you have some way to multiply it immediately. So an enrage warrior deck, basically. And even then it's just gonna get Flamestruck or something. Maybe I'm underestimating it though.
Also, preorder the entire adventure and you get a really cool card back.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Both of the "hold a dragon" cards seem like they're not really worth it. The simple fact that you need to draw your dragon seems like it's enough to make both abilities really weak.
Rend really does look bad to me, when compared to almost any other removal option.
Another adventure? I haven't quite finished Naxx yet. I'm gonna have to start saving up quickly.
So it is a Blackrock Mountain adventure, right?
WELCOME TO MEME HELL!!!The website has some more details, including pricing (the same as Naxx, as expected). Purchases with in-game gold aren't eligible for the pre-order cardback (makes sense, you couldn't pre-order Naxx with gold).
I'm assuming it's supposed to enable some kind of dragon deck. If there are enough otherwise decent dragons (Azure Drake comes to mind as one that's always been decent), it wouldn't be too weird to have one in your hand. It's less restrictive than "if you have a mech on the board".

Yes, the second Hearthstone adventure will be Blackrock Mountain, with five wings, seventeen bosses, and 31 new cards.
Progression will be almost the same as Naxxramas: the first wing (Blackrock Depths) will be available for free to all players during the first month or so, and the other wings will unlock one per week for a payment of gold or money. You can also buy the whole thing at any time to gain access to all the content once it unlocks.
Defeating each boss on normal unlocks the boss's card; defeating each wing unlocks a legendary card, and there will be a challenge fight for each class to unlock that class's card. 17 + 5 + 9 = 31. Defeating each boss on Heroic unlocks a new card back.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"True, but the effects don't seem so great even if you meet the condition.
And in a way I can see Rend's being more restrictive due to the situation he's being played in - late game. Holding him for that long and a dragon to get that benefit might be too limiting.
Rend is certainly terrible, but I'd say that's mostly because he has very low health and costs too much for something that's only very rarely better than a BGH. The Technician seems potentially decent. A 3/5 for 3, at a point early enough that you very likely have a large hand anyway, is practically free stats in a dragon-themed deck.

Pricing: 24.99 USD to unlock the whole adventure, 700 gold or 6.99 USD per wing. The announcement doesn't actually say whether Blackrock Depths will be free at launch, but it would be in keeping with the Naxxramas launch for it to be.
There is some speculation on the interaction of Grim Patron with Bouncing Blade: it could very easily fill your entire field with 3 attack minions.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Maybe I'm undervaluing it, but assuming you could get the effect 100% of the time... it's got an extra stat point and no other ability that only fits a certain deck type. Even slightly worse than being vanilla since the buff can be silenced away, not that anyone would waste a silence like that.
Freeze-Frame Bonus on the trailer shows Nefarian's human form as a card, so we know he's a legendary. It will be interesting to see what effect he has, especially since it's not him as a dragon. (Or maybe his effect involves him turning into a dragon?)
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)The thing with the dragons is unless they are adding a bunch of lower cost dragons I dont see many of these working too much. Although drawing say Alex she will stay in your had till turn 9, which might be what they are aiming for with those 'if you hold' cards.
Battle cry: if you hold a dragon in your hand discard it and summon dragon Nef?

There are quite a few Dragon cards already in the game, like Faerie Dragon, the various Drakes, and such; and I'm quite certain that we'll see more added in this adventure given the focus on Dragon synergy. Heck, the Emerald Drake that Ysera's Dream creates will be more valuable as well.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Wouldn't it be transform, and not summon?
The Hearthstone trailers always have those purple bordered legendary cards in them, but not all of them are actually cards. The innkeeper is one that comes to mind, but there's more of them. So it might not be an indication that it will be in the game with that art.

It would be reasonable for the Legendary card you get for beating Nefarian to be Nefarian. I mean, duh. The question would be what his stats are. Given how Nef's battle works in classic World Of Warcraft, maybe it's a small minion at first with a Deathrattle that summons Dragon Nefarian.
What I'm curious about is what the reward for defeating Ragnaros will be, assuming that he's the boss of Molten Core. He's already in the game.
Also, the wing progression seems fairly obvious given what we know of bosses and cards:
- Blackrock Depths (Emperor Thaurissian as final boss)
- Molten Core (? as final boss)
- Blackrock Spire (Rend Blackhand as final boss?)
- Blackwing Lair (2 wings?)

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Being only useful in one deck archetype isn't actually a bad thing as long as that deck archetype is viable. We can't say for sure yet since we don't have all the other cards, but in my view it's almost exactly the same as the Tinkertown Technician, except it's easier to play on curve because it doesn't rely on having any board presence at the beginning of your turn. You'll note that Tinkertown Technician is freaking everywhere in mech decks. And frankly it's kind of annoying to kill a 5 health minion on turn 3 or 4 (it dodges the Truesilver Champion, for example).
I see it as a solid card whose value is entirely dependent on whether Dragon Decks become viable after this expansion. If they do, I can't imagine that we'd see a single one that doesn't use the Blackwing Technician.
The ugly pay to win aspect coming again now that I think about it.
The only non-legendary dragons right now are Faerie Dragon, Azure Drake and Twilight Drake, And those are the cheap ones. The rest are 9-10 cost Legendary cards which are the ones that are useful to these new battlecries.
x4 Blackwing Descent as 5th.
Face Nef twice and the second time he brings his sister.

You're making that assumption based on very little knowledge of the new adventure. Hungry Dragon probably isn't the only new dragon added...
Why exactly do you think the legendary dragons are more useful to these battlecries?
That Patron. Depending on how it works, could be were interesting. 5 mana for 3/3 tho.
Out text month. 5 Wings, 17 bosses, 31 new card.
I walk over one bridge and there is a whole page of posts.)
