I'm hoping it will be one that answers the question about Ruby's and Yang's surnames.

They implied in the live stream that your question will be a plot point in a future episode or something.

I want something about the Grimm. Varieties, habitats, breeding, evolution - just what the hell are they?

I don't think they should ever really explain the Grimm. I mean, if the villain/monsters have no mystique to them then they're usually boring.

Of course, admittedly, they'd be killed just the same but still.

If the series takes a darker turn I would really like a plot to come up involving Weiss risking her body by using unsafe amounts of dust. Considering the fact she is able to essentially buff the team I can see how her usage could easily skyrocket, plus we know she has access if she wants it.

And more to the point it seems like it would be in character for Weiss. The winning at any cost at least. At this point in the story I don't think the relationships have developed enough for her to do that kind of thing and neither is the threat level.

So... you want her to take the same route she did in the Henceforward AU.

Again, while I like the Henceforward AU, I really hope that canon doesn't go anywhere near that route.

People can fuse with Dust?

Welp, looks like we know how Cinder came to be. There's something pretty ominous about Dust that the narrator seems to know about... I predict Dust came from the Grimmlings.

I imagine the Dust is essentially crystallised Aura. From whom this Aura came from is a mystery for now.

Remnant has a soul and thus an aura. Dust is the crystallized manifestation of that aura.

Five Nights At Beacon

A couple of expansions of that notion:

Go full Gun Buster, people using/stealing Dust is parasitic, Grimm are the planet's immune system.

Dust is the planet's aura, Grimm are a virus that threaten to eventually kill the world.

Random thought.

When the Volume 2 opening was released, it made me go "Oh crap." It was mostly because I was writing an OC RWBY fanfic, and one of the OCs primarily uses kick during combat. And then Mercury's fighting style was revealed and I thought "Oh damn it, now people are going to call Cian (that's the OC's name) an Mercury rip-off!"

To my defense, I wrote that chapter months before anything beyond his basic character design from ep 16 was released.

Monty did say that Dust is like Materia, and Materia in FFVII is indeed the planet's soul in usable form....

I think you meam Mercury.

Fixed. Damn, their name sounds somewhat similar (they both have mer) so I keep getting confused.

I suspect that Shadow wouldn't really give a damn about her and that their relationship would be utter chaos.

Alrighty. Imma put it under spoiler tags just in case.

Sometime in the future, a part/ceremony is held to commemorate Weiss taking over the Schnee Dust Company. She invites Blake and a few other faunus because fuck racism. Sometime during the event, the faunus start attacking and killing those present and go to rip Blake's cat ears off. After Weiss saves her, Blake then turns on Weiss and breaks Mrytenaster. Before Blake can kill Weiss, Ruby appears and confronts her only for Blake to impale her and almost kill her. Yang, thinking Ruby is dead, then attacks Blake but can't kill her despite easily having the chance. Yang also looses control of her Semblance (since this was back when we thought it was Fire) and burns her hands to the point where she can no longer use Ember Cecilia. The media starts to come down on Weiss for inviting the faunus in the first place but Yang, feeling tremendously guilty for not having been able to kill the one she thought killed her sister, instead takes the blame and becomes a wanted terrorist. After Weiss and Ruby recover (Ruby's spine was damaged so she can no longer lift heavy things or otherwise compress her spine too much and her reflexes are nowhere near as good), Weiss decides to undergo a new procedure that fuses herself with Dust (this procedure would have killed her, by the way, if Ruby hadn't followed her when she wanted to be alone) since she felt completely powerless and wants to protect Ruby (who, and I quote, "is [her] everything"). Oh, and Jaune almost died around the same time, I think, and Pyrrha did something with her Aura that saved him but left her almost completely crippled and/or paralyzed.

And that's just the prologue (mostly).

In other news, have some Epic Sax Weiss because why not.

AU, for when regular canon just isn't Grimdark enough despite literally having soulless scorpions the size of a house.

Geez, when does Qrow end up near death on a giant, mechanical throne?
