I'm not a fan of Adam either (Think his weapon is cool tho) but in Season 3, he beats both Yang and Blake, yet here he goes down after one hit from Blake? Blake, the character with the absolute worst combat showing of the main four. That's egregious.
You can argue Adam was insane, but we were never told it hindered his combat prowess. It feels less like the hero overcoming a powerful foe, and more like the writers decided that the heroes needed to win for plot convenience. Consistency be damned.
But I'm ok with it because I've gotten kind of sick of the White Fang plotline, and the sooner it ends, the better lol
And yea, I know people are squeeing about it, but the amount of emphasis on Yang and Blake's relationship is so eye roll worthy.

I agree 100% with your post except Blake being the worst combat wise of the four. I don't think that's really true. I'd definitely rate Ruby weaker than her. I guess you could say Ruby's eyes make her more of an asset but I don't really think so and they wouldn't work on Adam anyhow.

I'm actually going to disagree because RWBY seems unusually frequent with having the competence levels of characters wobble up and down.
A strong character in the eyes of the fandom one day will be a chump the next.

About Adam.....this kinda piss me off because im Actuslly fan of the chararter(as anyone who remenber me after the end If season 3 can atest) I like his outfit, he look like badass edgelord(Yeah I like that kind of chararter, it feel weird to said that) and I kinda tolerate him Being a stupid abusivo boyfriend because he did what Kylo ren should have: cutting the protagonist hand in one hit, That was badass moment like none.
Anyway I dont think the white fang plot is done, is just Blake first Victory overall but I dont trust RT that much to handle things as it should.

Of course, we could very well get the real fight next episode. Maybe. Not sure what on Earth Yang is supposed to accomplish against Raven though.

By all rights if it comes down to a fight Yang's screwed. She has one arm and even when not using Maiden powers Raven's a Qrow level fighter. She has been building up a lot of damage for her semblance from earlier on but I'm not sure if that could turn the tide or not.

Raven's Aura is broken, so she's handicapped and vulnerable. Yang has a fair shot even when taking Maiden powers and her lack of arm into account.

I really wouldn't count Adam out yet considering we don't know his semblance. Plus if he's meant to be a bull Faunus, he'll probably go raging mad.

The WF members decided to open fire, so Adam is clearly not done. If he were to surrender last episode then yeah anticlimax, but we still have one episode left, one that I hope is a 30 minute doozer
