Something that was pointed out while I was watching Murderofbird's livestream on the Volume 4 soundtrack, the end of the chorus for "Let's just Live" is:

What's that colour?

i am kinda buzzed on a saturday afternoon which means i love all music unconditionally, but i'm like extra super into the Sacrifice remix

Please tell me you didn't realize that it essentially spells out M O N T Y.

It reminds me of a specific sequence (a code really), that hides names in the first letter of each line or word...

The dog whistle screwing with the Faunus students was my favorite part.

Oh man, the bit of Yang trying to rock the fuck out just made me smile so warmly.

Also, yes, the Faunus whistle was the best bit.

And yeah, Jaune seen pretty good with those weapon, we never thought how much it cost him to use a simpler sword and shield.

RWBY Chibi continues to be better than actual RWBY.

In a way no one bothers to explain.

Seriously. I find them somewhat amusing but I enjoy main RWBY far more. Maybe they just want the humor?

I consider RWBY Chibi to be better than main RWBY because it tends to be rather funny, delivering on what it sets out to, and I have no real issues with it. Contrast RWBY where I tend to have countless issues for any given episode and I'm not entirely certain what, exactly, its trying to deliver.

Lower standards, means lower expectations to meet. Chibi isn't trying to achieve anything besides being cute, funny, fun. In that respect, it seems to succeed.

Seriously comparing it to the main series makes little sense to me because they're vastly different. But the comparisons seem less serious and more just jabs, playful jabs from some people, more spiteful from others.

Even if they're vastly different, the purpose of all fiction is to entertain the consumer in some fashion. I find Chibi to be more entertaining than RWBY. Ergo, I prefer Chibi to RWBY. Simple as that.

By that logic comparing anything in any medium is fair game. Not that I particularly care if anyone likes Chibi more that RWBY, but the comparison falls flat.

I agree. To me RWBY main and RWBY Chibi are two completely different things. They share a cast and some inside jokes but they aren't comparable to my mind otherwise.

I loved the one with the dog whistle.

Chibi has the quirky charm that RWBY proper has lacked recently.

I don't find Chibi much fun at all, although it does have its moments. I liked the dog whistle skit.

Chibi's a mixed bag for me. Some of the skits are great, some are a swing and a miss. The benefit of the format is that even the meh ones aren't very long, though, so it's not like it's a huge waste of time.

But it's a waste of time regardless...

So, win-win.

I neve get RWBY quirky charm since for me it was just like another anime, it was the epic feeling what it got me and so far it didnt disapoint....well it have but for other stuff.

Personally I'm not a huge fan of Chibi. It feels like it always has good setups, but the payoffs usually fall flat to me.
