Maybe these upcoming battles will give us a little insight on why some of the elites instated Azami into power?
Rindo thinks it's fun, Tsukasa thinks it's for the best, but I wanna see whether the rest have their reasons. Otherwise it just seems like a dick move

"Curry killed the pussy hoping that I could kill the hate in you" - Curry, D. "TABOO | TA13OO." TA13OO, PH, 2018Finally! I'm definitely more excited to see how the vampire will show that skill that merited her the 2nd seat.
I-It's not like I'm looking forward to the foodgasms or anything!
Thanks for pointing that out!

ACCOUNT NO LONGER USED. *straps on jetpack*I'm actually more interested in those battles than the Souma vs. Hayama happenings. This is the 3rd time they've matched, and there's no real stakes anyway, so who cares how their battle's going to turn out?
She's not first seat by the way.

Swimsuit omake out on Stream. Based Hisako.
>Megumi has the best hips.
Hmmmmmm
Well, I still wanna see Soma beat Hayama, that should be satisfying.

"As the possessor of the God's Tongue, she also possesses God's Bust."
Hot damn, Erina.
Shokugeki no Soma is a bishojo manga.
I'd be fine with it happening, but it won't be particularly satisfying for me because I've never really had that big a problem with Hayama.
Like I've said before, I'd prefer it if Soma still loses, partially because I want to see the reaction of the people who make him out to be the worst person on the planet.
Who Hayama? I don't hate him either, but it'd be nice for Soma to finally win over someone he's never beaten before. Overcoming rivals is what this series is about after all.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Finished season two. The last three episodes weren't as good as the first ten but it was still enjoyable all the same. Time to move onto the manga since there's no sign of a third season in sight. Where did this season leave off at in terms of chapters?
Chapter 116, with a little bit of 117 thrown in.
Surprised you liked the Autumn Elections over the Staigiare, its usually the other way around whenever the subject of good arcs come up.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Stagiare ended around 120 or so, I think?

Nope, 116.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.x3
I found the Staigiare arc to be boring though mostly because even though it bills itself as being about Souma finding his specialty in practice it was more about Souma trying to impress Shinomiya whom I don't care about as a character. Meanwhile the Autumn Election had some really good matches and twist that I didn't see coming whilst the only thing the Staigiare arc had going for it was that Hisako got some character development and Hinako showing up again.
It's worth keeping in mind that Chariot's point of view is one of an anime viewer, and therefore experienced a version of the Tournament that wasn't obnoxiously stretched out.
Well that's the main reason why people like the Staigiare, well that and people really didn't like Hayama winning the tournament.
Its still took up a portion of the series, even including about five episodes of Season 1 lol. 15 episodes of a 37 series is a lot.

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I also liked the Autumn Elections more than Staigiare. But, I also had the benefit of reading it all at once instead of just week to week.

I'm kinda 50/50 on them; I liked the Elections for the continuous competition and Soma having two prominent rivals and I also had the benefit of reading it all in one sitting....well half and half, I watched the prelims through the Anime and ran through the top 8 after Season 1 ended.
Staigiare only really has Hisako development and more Soma/Shinomiya interactions, but it was a nice breather arc after how long the Autumn Elections were.

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Re Soma vs. Hayama, considering the circumstances, I think whatever outcome this match would have would be more of an impact to Hayama's character rather than Souma's. And since I don't care about Hayama, I really don't see how the results of their match matters.
Well, unless they actually went through with the Shokugeki, Hayama wagers his seat, loses and Souma gets to be a part of the Elite 10. That might be interesting, but I don't think they'll go there at this point.

You don't have to personally be invested in characters for them to tangibly matter to the story.
edited 2nd Oct '16 9:35:21 PM by LSBK
True, but its hard to be invested in their part of the story if you don't care about them.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Fair enough. Seeing as their match has actually started, I guess the whole shokugeki bit is out the window. It's weird how they just brought that up without going with it but whatever.
I think the point is to show that Souma values his friends more than a meaningless title.
Why he considers Hayama a friend is another question.
Because they're rivals; come on, its like you don't know Shonen logic; Rivals = Butt buddies for life.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Friendship in manga is usually weird anyway.
Oh right. I got that confused with your dislike for Ochako.
.....you know what? You liking her makes it funnier now.
Sorry for the accusation man.
