That title page. Erina trying to comprehend what's going on.
Pretty boring set up chapter for events that feel like padding.
So Isshiki cunningly ensured that... the matches will be fair. The fact that they are bothered by it, just makes Central look weak.
So yeah, the shadowy mysterious 'totally elite ten tier guys' are now a thing. At least let's hope it'll be only second and third years, and not some totally awesome first year that we never heard off before for convoluted reasons.
Erina is still Sadrina mode, I hope she'll get out of it sooner rather than later. But with the incoming padding I doubt it. At least Souma is not being a smug ass about the recent revelation, he's just "You knew my dad? Cool, you'll have to tell me about it later!" which is nice.
So incoming in the next chapters is Central curbstomping some fodder we don't care about. Am I supposed to be excited yet?
Boooooo, should have been a Smug ass; she deserves it >:V
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Whether or not she deserves it, it would have been funny.
This too. Its ok, we're gonna get the smug sooner or later and its gonna be the ultimate smug off.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I just want Jouichirou to further shatter Erina's daydreams of him being the perfect chef by forcefeeding her a strawberry jam-coated kipper or something.
Souma can be smug sometimes, but I don't see him being smug about his father. He doesn't make a big deal out of things like that.
If anything, after hearing that Erina liked Jouchiro's food, I expect him to start whining that pop's has beaten him to the punch again.
Well, I expected some teasing if Erina tried to deny anything but she was completely honest.
There's one thing Soma can do tho...feed her the peanut butter squid; I mean that's pretty much the main people befriend Soma.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Chapter 153 out:
As expected the fodder clubs gets crushed easily. They don't even bother showing the matches.
Some more Central minions show up and... pffft, I just can't look at them without cracking up. I could not imagine a group of bigger edgy douchebags if I tried. I know they were aiming for hateful, but come on this is just hilarious.
And of course Souma goes to teach those assholes a lesson, and Takumi not only doesn't stop him but joins in. Prepare for a couple of more chapters of Souma fighting mook squad before we move on.
No doubt the Don RS and/or Shiomi's group will be involved with Souma's upcoming mook fights.
And yeah, those four mooks all look like they walked out of a cliché book of anime badass wannabes.

Hitokiri in the streets, daishouri in the sheets.Jezuz things are looking fun now, heh. Also these guys are stated to be second years so it not like they came completely outta nowhere.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Well that was unintentionally hilarious but the stuff with Eizan is interesting.

Those guys may as well have a sign over their head that reads "JOBBER". That said, maybe Takumi will handle these guys just to show how much he's grown...I mean he kinda needs it, his only other real match to date had him lose. He can actually win against mooks :V
And Eizan is still butthurt, its great.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Oh hey, it's that old guy judge. And the guy in the middle looks familiar too.
These new guys have pretty bad designs. I can't bring myself to care about the second raters of the second year when they're that unsubtle.
It's sort of good of concretely establish that these new guys exist, though. Like, we knew that the elite 10 probably weren't the only competent 2nd and 3rd years, but it's nice to be able to put faces to that concept.
Though I can't really bring myself to care about the idea of Souma facing these guys- they're sort of a noticeable step down from Eizan as far as credibility goes. Not to mention characterization.
It's pretty obvious they're just there to lose; The match with Eizan had personal stakes at least and he had it coming for a long time.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Hey, maybe Takumi will lose to give them some credibility before Souma crushes them.
I hope not. I want these jobbers to be done with and gone.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. What is there to even challenge them over anyway? They won their matches fair and square.
They were jerks which means they've automatically done something worth challenging. For some reason.
Let's move on and see the other members of the Elite Ten already.
Takumi not being part of any RS (that we know of), he's got nothing to challenge them over. Souma, being an honorary member of the Don RS, might have grounds to challenge one of them, if Nikumi and that one senpai haven't fought against Central yet.
Hitokiri in the streets, daishouri in the sheets.Ikumi losing to these guys would have been much more effective for this.
They're obnoxious brats who somehow think they're better than an Elite Ten.
That makes them worth curb stomping by default.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.
It did come up for a vote but nobody could be bothered to read the small print, hence it passed.
