Manami Anzai is a Complete Monster, I'm going to say it straight out. To describe her atrocities would be a very long list. What was sad was how Ayumu Shiiba The Woobie actually went after Anzai while Anzai was having a spectacular Villainous Breakdown. Why? Well, apparently she wanted to know what Anzai really thought about her...and maybe she wanted to see if there were any redeeming qualities to her. The simple answer is no, Anzai has zero redeeming qualities!
I like how the author Keiko Suenobu actually dares to go into the topic of bullying and how it's handled (or not) in Japan. I've heard how Japanese authorities seem to turn a blind eye most of the time and how the victim is the one who gets blamed. It's nice to see that at least one Japanese citizen doesn't buy into that load of nonsense!
