Suggestion: Spiders Are Scary

That's even better than my suggestion as far as showing the trope, but the cute spiders seem to be the preferred option. Maybe the Home Alone example could be used as an image link.

If we're going with the cute ones, I support 5.1 over 5.2.

Now it's between 5.1 and 24 for me.

I like the I KILL YOU◊ and SPIDERS ARE SCARY◊ the best.

But it's not "okay" to be afraid of spiders ::::< We want to defy common misconceptions, not reinforce them!

I'd say panel 5; panel 4 relies on the context of all the previous panels. I don't have time to add it to the crowner right now, but it's a good option.

If think Gunnerkrigg Court is the best illustration, the Tintin spider is not just scary, it seems to be a genuine threat.

This one's looking pretty decisive. The new pic's up, potholed, and tagged, and I've put a couple of the suggestions on an Image Links page. Caption or no?

I'm pretty sure not all are, so that caption kinda falls flat.

Ok, Uloboridae and Holarchaeidae don't have any venom glands. But all other spiders do and I think that's close enough.
