A quick question the two main ships of FF 7

Yes, more likely but not guaranteed. In all honesty, I see both ships the same way I see Edge and Rydia from FF 4. Heavily implied to have feelings for each other, but never officially stated they get together.

I'm a Cloud x Aerith shipper, and thanks to the following blog post, I realize that the most rabid of Cloud x Tifa fans have withheld some facts from several FF 7-related Ultimanias in order to justify their pairing. This is called card stacking, folks.

Besides, this isn't really about all that. It is about why Cloudx Tifa is considered canon over Cloudx Aerith.

Simple answer? It's not. Not really anyway.

Complicated answer? It's already been said in this thread, but individual members have their own preferences, and these preferences can easily leak into what they write. If you see something biased here, make it unbiased. If you see something biased on another site (where it can't be fixed), then try to correct them the slow way.

Just... when you do any of this, make sure you don't tilt the bias beyond the middleground. So if you see [Cloud x Tifa] on TV Tropes, don't when you correct it change it to something pro-[Could x Aerith].

I hate to break it to the C/A shippers. But the vast Cloudx Tifa conspiracy doesn't exist. The site says Cloud and Tifa are together because Cloud and Tifa are together. It's really that simple. And your attempts to insert ambiguity into the equation just so you can claim C/A "has as much evidence" are transparent. That is why most of the FFVII pages are locked.

Uh... I don't see how shipping and how fans view them has any effect on anything in an established work, correct me if I'm wrong? If anything, shipping is the last thing that crosses my mind any time I play Final Fantasy VII.
