Project Awakened

An extremely awesome game being developed by Phosphor Games Studio, and they're trying to get funding on Kickstarter.

That might be a little early, considering it's got just over half a month to make up two thirds its need.

I would have to agree. By all means, make threads, spread the word, get people to fund it. However, I think a Wiki page might be premature until we know that it has its funding.

This game already displays enough trope material to warrant a page, even if it never gets made.

It failed.

And Torment: Tides of Numenera has exceeded the total amount needed for Project Awakened to be funded in a few hours. Torment still deserves all the funding it'll get, of course.

But still.

Fuck.

Not the end of the road. If the devs are as invested in it as you are they'll try again (maybe after Torment is out of the way) or try another avenue.

Damn, that looked really awesome.

They're trying to fund it directly now.

Because we've heard this kind of shit promised before with jack shit for delivering on it?

Or maybe because the project sounds hopelessly ambitious, especially given the kind of funds they're asking for.

I dunno. There's over a month lef and they have 42K. That's nearly a quarter of the way there yet.
