Academy City. A city thirty years in the future, a city where science has forged people with ability beyond that of other humans. Academy City has the highest number of schools of any city in existences, one of the reasons for its name. Divided into twenty-three districts, Academy City boasts a massive number of students living within. Many of these students are Espers, but many more are Level 0's who have yet to show any promise in their abilities. Still, day in and day out, students learn and attempt to develop their powers, and scientists research these abilities and devise new technologies. Of course, the city isn't without its dark side...
There are others in the world, aside from Espers, who use a different power. The power of magic. Many of these people feel opposed to the powers of science, while others would rather not cause a vast battle between the sides. Regardless of how they feel, many agents of the Magic Side have found their way to Academy City in order to monitor events. They have to be careful, however, as the higher-ups of the Science Side are well aware of the Magic Side...
In this Academy City, some people simply want to live in peace and use their abilities for good. Others have... darker agendas.
Welcome to the currently-named Toaru Majutsu to Kagaku no Roleplay! As you might expect, this is a Toaruverse RP. Here are some rules:
Players may play as anyone from Espers to Magicians to those completely without ability.
For Espers, characters may not be any higher then Level 4. Magicians may not have Grimoires or any of those excessively powerful techniques that some magicians have access to. Basically, use common sense with powerlevels and don't get too ridiculous.
Gemstones(Natural Espers) are allowed, but only a small number are permitted and they may not be any higher then Level 4.
Canon characters are not permitted. I cannot stress this enough. They're around, and canon events happen/have happened, but I'm aiming to avoid interfering with it. Academy City is big, so there's plenty of room for other interesting things to happen.
