Already pledged for this. This is going to rock. Ralph's got a comeback baby.
Good for him!
Ahh, Ralph was never gone. And he was never here to begin with. He's his own entity, and he exists on his own plane of reality. Love him or hate him (or respect and admire him while finding his body of work both frequently flawed but often frequently brilliant), he's unquestionably an original.
New interview with Ralph about the film and why he's returned to animation.

And here's a new animation video by animator Joe Baptista promoting the film!

Oy. If I had money, I'd totally be supporting this. But since I don't, all I can say to those of ya with more wealth in your pockets than nil, go donate to this if you're a fan of good animation.
FINALLY! I thought he gave up by now.
Project has less than 40,000$ to get before its over. Hoping for the best!

They JUST passed it with currently around $500 dollars over the goal! WITH 43 HOURS LEFT! Whew!
We fucking did it guys! I am glad to help out on this...Now to play the waiting game.
A Tropes article on the film is up and running now! Feel free to contribute!

I wonder if I would be able to relate to any of the characters.
I mean, I haven't been there, or done that. I am not "from that neighborhood", if you know what I mean.
x2. I created the page, so feel free to add tropes that have to do with the upcoming project. Although, I didn't add the Were still relevant damn it trope. But would it count since Ralph is doing something new and is proving something to everyone that 2D animation can be done?
My first thoughts at reading: "he sent it to PIXAR!??!"
I treat all living things equally. That is to say, I eat all living thingsSomeone I know who worked with Ralph talked with him about that. I wont say much other than saying Ralph respects the talent at Pixar(except for them cashing in on sequels). So maybe(just maybe) when Ralph was pitching this to Pixar he was aiming for a PG rated feature. I am getting a feeling that Ralph didn't like how Pixar wanted it as if they were going to do it. May be hypocritical on Pixar's part since they have a PG RATED cartoon.
I remember reading an interview that Ralph isn't a huge fan of Dreamworks, so I am already imaging that the meeting with the dreamworks animation heads didn't end well.
Interview with Ralph, with some powerful insights.
