I already started a thread called Nine Latter-Day Simpsons Episodes That Match Up to the Early Classics, but I felt this episode was too good, so it need its own sepreate one, and because there are many hateful Fan Haters on here who attack people for liking something like that git who begins with "B" who flamed me for defending the show a while back..

to tell the truth, I’m a little worried about the show continuing for too much longer.Since I changed my meds, i can think more logically and see the show's flaws better.

It probably helps that I didn’t grow up with this show. My childhood was fairly sheltered, mostly filled with shows like “dexter’s lab” and “darkwing duck”. I didn’t start watching it until 2007.

[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holidays_of_Future_Passed] read the reviews!

When I saw “Holidays of Future Passed” in late 2011, and since then, I cherished this episode, because it had a combo of what classic eps were made of, and most modern eps lack. It had a strong story, good jokes, good character development, good quills, strong emotional moments, and the characters at their best. It was critically acclaimed.

It just hurts me that there are people out their who will probably never see this praised episode, or worse will watch it through a hateful nostalgic bias.

I cannot forgive anyone who disses this praised episode.

Flames against fellow posters+Separate thread on a show that already has its own thread (several, as a matter of fact),+Hating on those who have different opinions... Yeah, this is pretty much a good example of how not to make a thread. Just so you know, to spare yourself future further problems.

[up]Well, to be fair, there are a lot of people who will refuse to watch the episode based on their Nostalgia Filter. It's not really a flame, it's pretty truthful.

This episode was amazing. Even No Homers liked it. It was written as the series finale, just in case the show didn't end up getting renewed and I think that it would have been a great send-off for the show.
