Random Vigilante Encounter Table
when a maid goes out to fight crime, she can spend 1d6 favor to roll on this table. (Either I as the GM or the maid's player will roll) Once the favor is spent, either the maid's player or me (as GM) will roll twice: First to determine the level of the threat, and second to determine the type of threat. If the first roll is a three, another roll will occur to see the number of enemies fought (one will be added to the die total, for a number between 2 and 7).
The maid can choose to retreat from the fight at any time, but she will only get favor for actually defeating an enemy. She may ask other maids to help.
Note that is is possible, even if the maid defeats the enemy, for the maid to receive less favor then she spent.
Level 1: Low level criminal
Reward for defeating a level 1: 1d3 of favor (Roll a six sided dice, divide the result by two (rounding up). )

- 3 - Hitman - A trained killer - It may be a business for you, but putting murderers away is a pleasure for me.
- 4 - Cyborg Crook - A criminal who has accepted artificial augmentation. Stronger then human normal and usually has some type of built in weapon. - Half man, half machine, all criminal scum.
- 5 - Athlete's Foot Ninja - Trained in stealth and bladed weapons. Usually use swords and throwing stars. - I'm the only silent terror in THIS town, bub!
- 6 - Honey - The 'moll' of Buzz Kill, her hair is half blonde and half black in a Veronica Lake hairdo. (One lock of black hair covering her left eye. Same hairstyle as Jessica Rabbit). Usually wearing a slinky yellow sequin dress and black high heels. Uses a 'stinger gun' that fires poisoned darts. - Dealing with her is always a sticky situation.

- 1- Buzz Kill - A former bee-keeper driven insane, he uses a 'stinger gun' that fires poisoned darts. Blonde hair with black streaks, yellow and black striped outfit. - Float like a bumble bee, sting like a bumble bee! Yeah, I don't get it either.
- 2-Great White Hype - An addict of the Hype he sells, GWH wears a pair of bracers on his arms and a pair of denim shorts. The bracers inject a constant supply of Hype into his body, giving him bulging muscles and considerably enhanced strength. Easily enraged. - And people think I'VE got anger management issues.
- 3-Pun Gent - A dapper looking man dressed in a formal suit and top hat. Carries a sword cane. As skilled at word play as he is in sword play. - His jokes always stink.
- 4 - Sex Kitten. A highly skilled cat burgler who uses her sexual wiles, her whip, and her clawed gloves with equal talent. Bisexual and not afraid to use it to mess with her opponents. - She's good at being a bad girl.
- 5 - Fear Factory - Wears a gas mask, a black body suit, a bandoleer of gas grenades, and wields a chainsaw. The grenades produce a cloud of fear-inducing gas. - The only thing we have to fear is my fist!
- 6 - 'Duh Boss' Leader of the New Gothic mafia. Always dressed in a snazzy suit and carrying a tommy gun. Likes Italian food and beating up people weaker then him. - He thinks he runs crime in New Gothic. I'm going to show him that I'm the one who runs crime... right out of town!

The Athlete's Foot Clan is a group of particularly unsavory ninjas. In addition to the normal drug and weapon smuggling, they practice an even more unsavory trade: Smuggling in people. They ship people, wanting a better life, into the US in shipping containers and then sell these people as slave labor. While legally, when I find a shipment, I should report the 'slaves' to the authorities, I don't believe that would be the course of justice my parents would have wanted for me. So far, I have either offered the newly freed slaves passage back to their homelands (sadder but wiser), or tried to find them semi-legal employment in Gothic City while the Silver-Cray United Family Fund (SCUFF) tries to help them get green cards.
Buzz Kill and Honey, while at first glance may appear to be just a pair of delusional costumed crooks, are far more dangerous then they appear. Buzz Kill is a chemical genius who has created a variety of 'bee venoms' that both he and Honey use in their Stinger Guns. Buzz Key's exposure to multiple bee strings has given him a high threshold for pain, and both he and Honey have studied extensively in a rare martial art known as 'the Way of the Bumble Bee' which combines apparently random weaving movements and lightning fast strikes.
Da Boss - Real name unknown. He's a shadowy figure in the Mafia underworld. He thinks he's untouchable, but I've proven him wrong several times.
Fear Factory claims to be a chemical genius, but has no actual skills in that regard. The fear gas he uses is from a chemical formula stolen from an abandoned government chemical weapons lab. Real name Freddy Kett (with the unfortunate childhood nickname of 'Fraidy Cat')), Fear Factory gets pleasure in terrifying others. That's probably why, in addition to his fear gas grenades, his main weapon is a chain saw.
The Great White Hype was a ninety-six pound (See copy of New Gothic High School Permanent Record of 'Henry, Gregory W.') chemistry nerd until he developed the super synthetic steroid he dubbed 'Hype'. Unfortunately, he is now an addict of his own product, selling and using Hype in dangerous amounts when he could have used his now-ruined genius to be helping people.
Pun Gent Walter Wordwright was a well respected British professor of English Literature and Fencing, until he made the mistake of moving to New Gothic City to revitalize the New Gothic High School English program. He claims he was driven figuratively insane by the banality of his students. Having seen 'L33t sp33k' online, I can sympathize. He has vowed to try to bring a halt to the destruction of 'The Queen's English'. Fond of a variety of English satirists and humorous playwrights, he tends to leave clues in the form of puns and word play. A master of fencing, he carries a sword cane that he can wield with deadly accuracy.
Sex Kitten, real name unknown, is a beautiful woman with an ugly side. I once fantasized about her, but now realize her seductive banter was merely meant to distract me. While I have no doubt that she would have followed through if I had ever accepted one of her sexual advances, I'm sure I mean no more to her then anyone else who looks semi-decent in spandex.

Description: The only child of Charles Emerson Newube and Lady Claira Newube-Silver, Cray was born to a life of wealth and privilege. However, at the tender age of 8, his parents were killed by criminals. In a rage, Cray manifested magical abilities and was able to scare the criminals off before he himself was killed. Blaming both the criminals and himself for the death of his parents, Cray trained himself in a variety of martial and mystical arts. When he turned 21, he took to the streets as 'Night Watcher', a masked vigilante. For fifteen years he has fought the criminal scum of New Gothic. Unfortunately, a life of crime fighting takes its toll, even on one possessed with the magical ability to detect evil and summon mystical flames. The punishment Cray's body has taken means that he needs a powered exo-frame just to be able to walk through his mansion and that normal light is painful to his eyes. To continue his crusade against crime, he has recruited several maids to both serve him in the mansion and to protect the citizens of New Gothic.
Cray stands six foot three when using an exo-frame, with indigo hair and eyes. The 'mystic flames' he can summon also appear indigo blue; he can use them to sense evil and also to cause pain in a target. The pain is only illusion, someone with high cunning or will can resist the attack. Even with the exo-frame his physical abilities are limited, and he cannot use the exo-frame outside of his mansion. Losing his parents left him emotionally crippled and he has trouble expressing or even understanding his own emotions. When stressed too much, he tends to rampage through the mansion, destroying his many precious artifacts and momentos. His favorite maid type is pure, seeing pure maids as being the opposite of the criminal scum who killed his parents.
Despite his injuries, Cray Newube has connections to many local politicians, often having the Mayor and Police Commissioner of New Gothic over to his mansion for dinners. These dinners can provide information Cray uses in his crusade against crime.
