HOLY SHIT, THE GAME IN MY HANDS, THAT'S WHAT!
Seriously, though, that's an awesome concept for a game.
The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit!Game's out for pre-purchase on Steam for the classic old 10% (on its $15 price, that's $1.50), and it allows you to immediately install and play the beta. My brother's doing that as I type this, he's saying it's very thorough in game mechanics, and I can attest the music is beautiful stuff.

Sang-Froid now has a TV Tropes page.
Unfortunately, I'm finding nothing on it while being locked.
The page is here
Exxxxxcellent. Got some editing done!
Oh yeah I never did say about my own playthrough.
IT WAS AWESOME AS SOMETHING REALLY FRAGGIN' AWESOME WITH INTERESTING AND WELL-LAYERED MECHANICS AND EXCELLENT MUSIC TO MAKE A GAME I HAVE NEVER PLAYED ANYTHING LIKE BEFORE
If I see an Indie GotY award around, my vote is obvious.
Only did Jos so far, working on Jack about now.

Watching the video.
Looks like my kind of game. And he's right, it's probably the greatest portrayal of the frozen hellhole that is my country in gaming.
EDIT: HOLY FLAMING ACORNS THIS GAME HAS ALL OF MY PURCHASE
Also posting this trailer just because.

Bleye knows Sabers.Bought it.
Played it.
Oh god this game is soooooo gooooooooooddduuugghghjknkjnakjsfnk -gurgle-
Also, nothing's ever made me feel more patriotic than this.
Bleye knows Sabers.IN CANADA!
FREAKING Will'o the Wisps. Never seen anything more deserving of the Goddamn Bats trope since the Kobold Runners from Orcs Must Die. They are immune to almost all traps, have ranged attacks, tend to attack constantly to interrupt your combos and worst of all can heal themselves by hiding underground. It's happened so many times that one throws themselves away while they have a sliver of health and reemerge for a backstab later at 100%.
Bleye knows Sabers. They indeed rather painful. At least they die pretty fast...
If you have a blessed weapon. Of course, I'm stuck on the level where you need to grab a silver one if you want to kill the Maikans fast enough. My computer's chugging with it too for some reason which is complicating things.
Bleye knows Sabers. So I clicked on an older day to show some basic gameplay to my friends and lost a ton of progress.
Not the best game design I've ever encountered.
Bleye knows Sabers.Achievements achieved
That is to say all of them
You are a beast.
Bleye knows Sabers. No pls I don't want to be possessed by someone's soul to do the Devil's bidding

"It's only -small amount of money-..." - Everyone whose bought something for the Summer Steam Sale so far.

Bit from the developers on Steam about what they're aiming for in the sequel - spreading the game play further about the village of Wolvesvale, new traps, items, maybe a vicious attack dog companion, and a co-op campaign mode.
Also, it's a Canadian Videogame Awards finalist for Best Indie Game.

I saw this and thought it could be a nice distraction.
It is quite fun.
CANADA, CANADA, CANADA
A game where Irish-Canadian lumberjacks hold their ground against werewolves sent by the Devil.
It's an indy-game that passed through the Steam Greenlight. In their words, the universe draws from old legends and horror stories of Quebec and Innu folklore. The gameplay brings elements from Tower Defence and RPG while the camera angle and game is otherwise Third-Person Action.
And it's a game where Irish-Canadian lumberjacks hold their ground against werewolves sent by the Devil. WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT
