Eh, guess I'm more partial to Bloody Roar 3. Granted, that's when the series started taking a turn from the origins of the zoanthropes being mad-science to supernatural and things got fuzzy with the canon from then on, but it's probably the one fighting game I played the most in my life (unless you factor in Smash Bros Melee).

BR dropped its least popular characters harder than I've ever seen any characters dropped. Mitsuko managed to squeeze in a few mentions later by virtue of being Uriko's mother, but she would have been absolutely screwed if she didn't have that. Women like her aren't even legally allowed to be in fighting games anymore, they're too cowardly.

There's no real way to sensibly play the games legally anymore so... Y'now.
