Sinestro's Start of Darkness?
I like it. He's got a point though.
Jerkass Has a Point, but only to a point

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! As multiple people posted on the Facebook post, lots of yellow developing...
Soooo.... how does he plan to get home ? Is he still riding with them ? This is going to be an awkward car ride.
Sinestro is a good guy at heart, if you look past the egomania and the condescension and the genocidal tyranny.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! And assurances that Sinestro is an outlier.
Frankly, I do have some sympathy for this version of Sinestro. He worked hard to be in the Green Lantern corps and it would sting to have honorary membership handed out to people showing up on their first day.
Depends on whether Sinestro did all of the stuff he did because he's an overachiever or if he was required to do it all to get into the troupe. It's implied to be the former, in which case he can take a hike.

Nice bit of delberate political commentary in that strip.

I'm sure there's a reference I'm missing here.
Twenty bucks says Hal's dad is into Alan.
My various fanfics.I know it's shading in an attempt to provide depth, but I keep looking at Hal's Dad's arms and legs and thinking he intentionally has arms and legs of different ethnicities.
Great. Now I can't unsee it.

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! My guess is that Bruce's glee has little to do with the bet, but rather his fun time with Karen.
The sensory information was way too much for Barry to process at once, so Bruce was simply able to walk up to him as he was spinning and still surprise him.
...Aww, who am I kidding, it's because he's Batman.
I've got Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash, Spyro, and Paper Mario fanfics. Was he born like that?
I have visions of a half-dressed toddler Bruce running off down corridors and disappearing into thin air when Alfred's (or his parents, because I don't know when they got murdered in this comic's timeline) trying to get him to take a nap.
I mean, obviously, pics or it didn't happen.
Side note, why do I feel like this could massively backfire with Karen finding out the date involved a bet, and deciding that she was just a pawn, a toy for the rich kid.

You know what I really love about this one? It really captures the essence of Batman's character, just in the context of being a normal elementary school child. A bit cold and rational and with something of an ego and who has trouble genuinely connecting with his potential romantic partners and ends up kind of exploiting them to make him feel better about himself.
That kinda thing is really what sells this comic to me and makes the premise seem like more than just a cute gimmick.

I've got Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash, Spyro, and Paper Mario fanfics.I was right. And... wow.
Well, that does answer the question of whether Bruce has the same tragic backstory.
Criminey. Poor Bruce. Poor J'onn.
