I think the handwave I went with for how she initially got them was that she mistook them for gambling chips, so I assume there was a Yummy at that particular casino generating them or something (such a place would clearly be a hotbed of desire, after all).

I'd say the best thing to do with the Greeed and the Core Medals is to just give them the same backstory as they originally had (alchemists in the employ of the original OOO made them 800 years ago, but they got sealed away), although that does beg the question of how they were released on the world again... Maybe the new OOO is running about somewhere offscreen or... Something. Hmmm.

It has begun!

So, all the new recruits wake up on the craft, having been knocked out several hours earlier in various ways from whatever they were doing. No-one has a Gear yet.

Natalie and Joel are also on said craft, but they're already awake and know what's going on.

A bit of it, at least.

Oh, by the way, prepare for world-building and a whole bunch of other stuff. Input greatly appreciated.
