First off, there's the design. Normally, I find hybrid animal characters to look really lazy, like they just, well, slapped some animal parts together and called it a day. But this one? I don't know, it feels like care was taken to make sure all the elements went together properly. It helps a great deal that, at her most basic, she resembles some sort of fox with feline markings.
Then, there's the fact that she's funny as hell, with crazyfacesgalore. But at the same time, she can actually be pretty darn cute when not in full rage mode.
And, after a certain point in the comic, she pulls a Heel–Face Turn and pretty much becomes Rarity.
I have no idea how it happened, but I think she's become my favorite character.
