Just said this on a different RP that Strat's running and I participate in, but I'll be entertaining company next week, and I might not be able to post for a bit. I'll still stop by and post when I have an opportunity to, of course. Happy holidays!

I don't really have many more questions to ask so I'm ready to go whenever everyone else is done.

So was it always this slow, or did everybody run away when they saw I had joined (besides Hourai, Firock, and Endark)?

Guys, I know this may seem like the biggest dick move in all of history, but I'm going to have to put this RP in a hiatus. I say hiatus because I hope it's not permanent, but I'm going to have to let go of this baby right here. If anyone wants to pick it up, they're free to do so.

I'm not sure if I'm up for taking another RP to run, so does anyone else feel like picking it up for the time being?

No worries, I can wait. I'm a little preoccupied with other projects at the moment anyway; these recaps don't write themselves!

To paraphrase what I just stated in the Si Vis Votum discussion, "I am back, and I now have the new XCOM, and it is ironic that this happened the week that the XCOM RP went on hiatus". C'est la vie, I suppose.

I don't have much confidence in my RP hosting skills (while I have done it on other forums before, the one RP I tried to run in these TV Tropes forums ended up imploding due to my multi-paragraph posts and my decision to start with only three or so people). While I suppose I could try if urged, I'm also perfectly fine with staying back, focusing on my other projects, and letting Strat revive this project when he feels that he is ready to.

Y'all still got any room? Also, is there room for non-combat people, like a commander, scientist, engineer, or somesuch?
