You mean something like Kings of Chaos?
I'm reading this because it's interesting. I think. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, over.Yeah like that.
Not all dreams are meant to come true, otherwise there would be a lot of dead people.Nickelodeon deleted all their web games under the guise that "Kids don't play computer games anymore—they prefer mobiles".
This has only made me notice that many browser games are being lost with little-to-no archival attempts. Web games aren't like other video games. You can't ow a copy and keep it forever like a physical or even digital game. It exists on a website and when it's gone, it's gone. Most games aren't cut out for a Wikipedia page or even a Tvtropes page; they're so bare minimum that there's nothing to trope. But they're fun games and it sucks that they're gone.
There are several browser games I'd genuinely pay for longer console versions of. Crush The Castle and Dino Run are two prime examples. It's a shame that Dino Run 2 never came out.

I remember playing a lot of web games on the Cartoon Network site, the Shockwave site, and a site called Bonus (I think that's what it was called; URL used to be bonus.com).
Don't know if Cartoon Network or Shockwave still have those games up, and I'm pretty sure Bonus is no longer around.
I've heard of some efforts by fans to preserve the flash games from Cartoon Network, and even talk about them trying to obtain the data necessary to run Fusion Fall, which was CN's attempt at making a Wo W-lite MMO. Dunno if the latter ever had any success, but I know at least a few of the flash games are now being hosted on a new site dedicated to keeping them online as long as possible.
MMO restoration efforts are a bit more commonplace than with normal browser games. I know of several projects: The Sims Online, Club Penguin, and Toontown... Stuff like Monkey Quest and Millsberry are likely lost forever, but some other games have fared better.
I hope Neopets doesn't go off-line anytime soon. It's one of the longest-running games of its kind left.
On Fusionfall, both Legacy and Retro seem to be on-going projects. They haven't been given cease-and-desists yet, which is good. I don't think Fusionfall was well preserved. I can't find any rips of the voice clips from the game on Youtube. Maybe they're somewhere else, but they might be lost.
Here's an intro cutscene for Fusionfall Legacy.

Coming across the Papa Louie Arcade page makes me remember how much I miss playing that series. I could go for a console compilation game.
How many tropers here play web games? I've played Castle Age, War Metal, and Urban Rivals.
