Suggestion: Characterization Marches On

Got a suggestion for this one: Aran Ryan from Punch-Out!!. From a flat and◊ generic fighter◊ in Super Punch Out to an Ax-Crazy cheating sonuvabitch◊ in the Wii game. He is an obvious example, no doubt, but my biggest concern is that if the pictures make that clear enough.

Do you mean juxtaposing [1]◊ and [2]◊ in one image? That wouldn't even imply the images are from two different games, and this idea is much more complex than that.

Yeah, not feeling that suggestion.

Also, Wii image is in use on a page. I forget which page, but I distinctly recall it passing IPD. Trying To Catch Me Fighting Dirty.

Something like the machinegun along with where he breaks a shotgun? I think those two would work best. Other than the one with him pointing a gun, they're the only ones that don't rely on text.

The shotgun one is already on Does Not Like Guns I see.

That's a shame. On the other hand, that's the exact sentiment this image is supposed to illustrate...

Handgun + "coward's weapon" works for me.

I'd go for the machine gun and the cowards weapon. Coz the machine gun image is so over the top and flagrant about it. Him and Robin both look like they are enjoying it. It makes the contrast all the more flagrant.

The over-the-topness is why I don't like it; I'd much rather see something that actually could be realistic for the character.
