A reference to this post.

I won't be revealing any spoilers here since the story is still in early development (and I want this baby to be my Magnum Opus in future, so no ruining of the juicy bits. At least for my anyways) so let's commence the throwing of ideas into this pit of hell!!!

@ Sabre's Edge: That gives me a great idea (since progress is slow these days due to upcoming exams and lack of inspiration at the moment) speaking about the destinies of my characters.

Be careful with magic.

In Fairy Tales, Magic is usually batshit insane.

This happen for no logical reason, without any intervention from the main character.

Talking foxes and disguised enchantresses and whatnot..

You could imply there's some kind of spiritual force that's causing fairytales to happen. So the same force that causes archetypal stories to be retold time and time again is acting on real life, kind of like in Witches Abroad.

That could create tension when someone realises they're 'in' a story and tries to fight their destiny.

Or you could say that the people who first told the fairy tails were actually prophets and based their stories on what they say your characters doing in the future.

The Five Hundred Kingdoms is based on a premise similar to that.

The Tradition is a stupid mindless force that trys to shove the world into fairytales and stories. People end up being pushed along against their will, as the force of the Tradtion piles on them.

..But sometimes things don't work out. What happens if the poor girl with the evil step-sisters and wicked step-mother doesn't meet her prince?
