So, in addition to working out, I figured that I better do something productive before entering military in November 28. And I thought, maybe I should finish and perhaps even publish the novel that I finished the first draft of.

Then it turned out that I had clocked at around 400k words and 280 pages. Holy crap. When the fuck did I even write this shit?

Hmm...maybe I can finish editing this one into completion if I concentrate...

In another topic, I drew my first digital art, using Microsoft Paint and my mouse.

Admittedly, I tried to draw Zarya from Overwatch◊, but ahahahaha I can't draw something like that when I never drew anything with a mouse before.

Seeing how I can't bother getting myself a graphic tablet or using a scanner, Microsoft Paint and mouse is probably the best tool for digital art I can access at the time being.

If you're adamant about not giving a fuck about drawing tablets, but still wanna do the digital arts, Photoshop (and gimp) have tools that let you click on points to set paths for your ink.

So I downloaded GIMP (it's an open source) just now and went over the tutorials. Also, I spent half of the afternoon reading One-Punch Man, other mangas, and photos for imitation drawing practice.

On ears. Just the ears. Because I can't draw them. I have three large sketchbook pages filled with nothing but 200 ears. Ooh boy, now I can draw some ears, all right. Next stop, hands and arms.

If I keep this going, I might either end up becoming an artist or a serial killer.

Or both. Clearly what you need is real life examples of those parts to use as models. The people trying to stay "alive" and "unmutilated" are just standing in the way of Art.

The best healer is the healer that is alive and consistently healing, which requires staying alive.

Shouldn't you team protect you, since you are such a valuable asset? That's why dedicated roles exist in the game right? To achieve the optimal efficiency through synergy and teamwork.

In an ideal world, yes they goddamn should.

But unfortunately, too many gamers are preoccupied with just getting as much kills as possible...even though the numbers of the kill itself means nothing in this game.

Lucio's not a great healer if you can't rely on your team to protect you, because he needs to be in the middle of a swarm of teammates. Meanwhile Ana can lurk in backlines, Zenyatta can defend himself, and Mercy uses one teammate at a time as a meatsheild/escape pod.

I started as a Mercy user, tried a bit with Lucio, and then Ana, and back to Lucio.

At least in my experience, Lucio is better at both lurking and hiding into meatshield. With Ana, to give everyone healing I have to expose myself since I have to shoot the healing rounds. The thing about Lucio's healing is that it's both automatic and have a pretty decent range. So as long as my status shows that I'm healing more than 3 allies, I can just hide in a corner pressing E to accelerate healing every few seconds.

Also, Lucio is consistently and independently fast, so retreating behind meatshield is easier for him anyway. Better yet, he can actually make other meatshields arrive faster at the battlefield and around myself because of the speed boost. With Mercy, when I find myself alone or/and attacked by a flanking Reaper/Tracer/Genji, there's not much I can do except whipping out my secondary arm and just hope that the enemy is a bad shot. With Lucio, I can just Right click + Shift + E myself out of there for the vast majority shot. Hell, I even escaped Roadhog's Hookshot several times with that.

Really, at least in my experience Lucio is both better at staying alive at the battlefield and getting back in quickly once respawning. I haven't played Zenyatta yet, but I don't have that good of aim so far so I'm not considering that just yet.

How do I Log Horizon?

You watch it wherever you watch anime. Is the answer to the question I assume you were asking. The manga are mostly spin-off material (as I understand it) and the LN... I haven't checked out the LN. It's the source material and therefore probably has a bunch of details that didn't make it into the anime. Possibly some of the nonsense that went down towards the end of the second season was clearer there. I'm not sure how much of it was translated/is findable.

Log Horizion is on the watchlist, but it will never be as fun as the author of that economically-driven series getting jailed for tax-fraud.
