Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens

As popular as they are, I kind of think that Star Wars will beat them. It's Star Wars, after all.

About the only competition in December for Star Wars is the Alvin and the Chipmunks film and the Point Break remake.

I'd play this game just to murder ewoks.

The Battle of Jakku sounds cool.

I think it's a bit weird to have the giant Star Destroyer crashing into the planet's surface being the first thing that happens, but okay. Sounds interesting.

My guess is Rey curbstomps him only for Luke or Leia to swoop in and save him at the last second. That or Rey takes the moment to reveal she's a jedi.

Okay, now that I'm slightly more calm. Come to think of it, it's kind of weird that I never thought that Kylo Ren might of been preparing for a lightsaber duel with someone when he showed up in the first teaser. As if randomly igniting his lightsaber while staggering through the forest was just something Kylo Ren did whenever the mood struck him.

C'mon Star Wars, give us the HD version of that teaser on Youtube.

EDIT: Who wants to bet that the scene with Finn and Kylo Ren about to duel happens at the climax or near the end of the movie?

Uh, what?

You know what this means though, right? It means a full-blown trailer is about to drop soon. A trailer for the trailer has been a popular trend with movies this year (see Ant-Man and Deadpool). I got a feeling that it will be dropped Thursday next week to roll out with Force Friday.

One thing someone commented is that the emitter on Anakin's lightsaber looks slightly different. I'm not sure if that's just the special effects though or if it was modified somehow since we last saw it.

What, you don't like to look all cool & badass when you're alone in the woods at night? I mean, its dark, maybe Kylo needed some light, and decided to look cool while doing it.

Who, Finn? Or Kylo Ren?

Because neither of them are going to die. Kylo Ren is the new Vader, while Finn is part of the the trio along with Rey and Poe Dameron.

The one who will probably die is Han.

This will be the be the new Bespin fight where Fin gives it a shot but realizes he's way out of his league and will go to Luke, the new Yoda, for further training.

Maybe nobody dies. Maybe just this once, Everybody Lives!

Sorry wrong sci-fi franchise.

Kylo could be the Darth Maul of the new trilogy, the really cool looking dark-side-user in the first movie that gets killed off in the first movie and then brought back years later for a much better cartoon series.

I mean rumors aside I hope Kylo sticks around longer than one movie and Disney has learned the mistakes of the prequels, but there's always that possibility. Its a big galaxy.

Yeah, Star Wars has never been shy about killing or crippling main characters.

Everyone's going on about the lightsabers and all that but what stands out to me... the First Order is really Putting on the Reich here. More than in the previous teasers, way more than the Empire ever got a chance to do.
