JAFAAC ahoy!
How's this? Not drastic enough?
This is going to be a hard one to do without JAFAAC since it's a physical appearance trope. I'm not totally up on my MGS canon, but maybe a pic of "young" snake and "old" snake, with a caption to the effect of how many years separate them would work. I'm okay with having a caption do at least some work on this one, I don't think there's any way around it without going imageless, and in my mind, that's a last resort option.
More specifically, it's a trope that by definition involves something you can't get from personal appearance. Maybe we could use a comic like in Older Than They Look?

I checked in the history, and Eddie pulled the pic that was chosen in the old thread, saying it didn't illustrate the trope. I completely disagree; if I saw that guy on the street, I wouldn't think he's 17 either.

All respects to The Fast One, but I think he's full of crap sometimes. This is one of those times. That's a perfect illustration of the trope. The guy looks like he's 30 to me, not 17.
I am not quite sure how that picture does not illustrate. It looks ideal to me, at any rate.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Maybe a character bio card from something that lists an age on it?

An old man. Okay.
Nothing dignifying that he's young.
