Yes, but Roderick is the one who made the offer.

That's the key point here; if Eachiunn had typed that he offered the dragon's breath rounds and some spare cash, that would be one thing. But he didn't, so your point is moot.

Also his initial offer, being two knives for four axes, might have been affected too.

EDIT: Again, he didn't offer any cash with that trade.

I'm not going to automatically assume you guys are putting in cash with any transaction involving "free" items. You have to remember to put that yourselves, or else you're only trading items.

Double post, but I just realized, @Troy: If Pyro knows Spanish, that should have been on his character sheet.

It mentions that he's Hispanic, but it mentions that only in relation to his appearance. (Which, in the adjective form it's used in, doesn't necessarily mean he knows Spanish. Had it been the noun usage, that would imply he knows Spanish, but I actually only just now learned that.)

Regardless, even if the mention in his appearance was supposed to imply he knew Spanish, it still should have been clearly mentioned in his skills.

Got caught up working on something for another RP last night; now I'm here and going to see about posting as soon as I can. I do have laundry going that I have to take care of, then after that I'm going to head out for dinner; so I don't know how soon the post will be coming, but it is coming.

Well, I probably should have gone ahead and posted last night; but unfortunately, I just forgot.

Now to be fair, work yesterday was especially exhausting, but I am still sorry that it happened that way. Anyway, I'm here now and intend to post tonight; hopefully soon but some stuff did just come up so it may have to be later tonight.

Hey people, here now. I don't want to post anything else for the scene between Gunslinger and Harry until Eachiunn does, as Harry's reaction is kind of critical to what's gonna happen here. So that's why I didn't post yesterday; as for now I'll see about getting up a response to Atomic soon, though I need to catch up on some things first.

But while I'm here, my schedule for next week: Have work Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday, and of course RPG night with friends planned on Friday. Each one of those work shifts is longer than the previous, and Saturday they're having a special event at the workplace on top of it being my longest shift in the week; so I wouldn't be surprised if I'll be way too exhausted to post that night.

I think Gunslinger and Red should bond over them both being dads and discuss the best way to discipline one's child during the Apocalypse grin

Well, my last two days have been somewhat hectic. Lotta drama in my personal life, trying to get stuff worked on for another RP, and getting some background character stuff done with Gameknight, and in the meantime kinda hoping that more people would post.

But, I am here now and my life has stabilized somewhat, so I'm gonna see about posting later. Got some computer updates I wanna get done first.

At the risk of you being on a three + posting streak, I'll express my praise and adoration for this recent news now...

Glad to hear it! I look forward to reading what new adventures await our merry band.

[up][up][up] Sounds fun, but GS is really bad with daughters. That and he's a bit of a Troll.

Well, spent the day mostly waiting on posts, though it's been relayed to me on skype that both Nman and Eachiunn are both having issues in real life preventing them from being to post easily. With that in mind I'll probably go ahead and post once I'm back from work tomorrow.

... lining up and firing with a speed and accuracy was almost inhuman.

Gunslinger may be good with his rifle, but not this good. Not unless he's using his spell; and if he is you need to clearly say so, and how much he's using it.

Also to get directly across from the zealot that's about to shoot Goldilocks, he'd have to go halfway down the street and get pretty much right next to the swarm.

Anyway, here now after sleeping in and then having to stop by work to get next week's schedule:

Got regular work shifts on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday, as well as a super early employee meeting on Saturday. Due to the meeting, RPG night with friends on Friday is off this week.

Probably going to wait to let Atomic post before posting myself, since both of his characters are in the thick of the fight.

Almost inhuman, not straight-up inhuman (besides, he missed five out of eight shots). He's better with his revolver. In fact, that trick where he fires so fast with his revolver that multiple shots look like one single shot is something several shooters (Jerry Mikulek and Bob Munden, to name two) have been able to do.

Gameknight, I'll allow Gunslinger to be an expert with his guns.

Not a world-class expert though. Tone. It. Down. He cannot do that trick without magic; he most certainly cannot do that trick with each bullet hitting a different target. Your characters should not be that good.

For fuck's sake, how many times do I have to tell you this kind of thing Gameknight? It even occurs to me now that your justification for him being that good with them: "since he's been using them his whole life." to quote his sign-up sheet, is actually false according to the extra back story thing you wrote and sent me.

He missed five out of eight shots because I determine when he misses and when he doesn't; and if you keep having him try bullshit like this, he's going to miss a lot. It's just Mary Sue as fuck and I won't stand for it.

He's good enough to hit several bullets inside a tiny space in a very short time-span. That's how he deals with ghouls: by shooting a tiny area several times. I put it up, you okayed it. It's still there on his sign-up sheet. If you don't want it, say it before the character gets in Firock.

I'll leave GS's sheet up so you can check everything. I didn't edit it. I'll change it tomorrow once I get a good night's sleep.

And yes, it's completely possible for someone to be a lawyer and frequently practice with guns. It's called the second amendment.

His signup sheet says this:

Also can aim very, very well with his revolvers, to the point where his main method of dealing with a ghoul is to aim at a point on their head and his that repeatedly.

It says nothing about hitting the same spot with bullets so rapidly that it looks like one shot firing; I thought you meant one bullet at a time, normally, just specifically hitting the same spot each time. Which is impressive, but totally within reasonable bounds.

If I had known you meant this bullshit I would not have allowed your character. Period.

Do not try to act like I allowed this when I didn't. I will repeat again: Tone. It. Down. Or else.

@Everyone else: My apologies about not posting yet; I'm trying to catch up on some things on the side and will post as soon as I'm done with that. I also have slight writer's block, but that will hopefully be done with by the time I'm done with said side things; I'll start working on a post in about... One hour.

With the ghoul moving and being knocked back with each hit, that'd be aim better than most world shooters. But okay, looks like it was a miscommunication. I'll tone down the firing speed.

Here's a video of four schmucks on the discovery channel. Good enough?

[up]Well, those targets are stationary. Plus there isn't as much pressure to hit them as say, a life or death situation.

I'm not an expert on firearms or shooting, but I'm just throwing in my two cents.
