That Esdeath was eventually going to die has to be the single most obvious thing about the series. If you're complaining about that you might as well be complaining about her and Tatsumi no hooking up, oh wait...

Seriously, Esdeath is love, but she's gonna die unless Takahiro is going for the Empire wins ending which I doubt.

So I won't be salty, and I'm pretty sure any complaints are probably people trolling.

Esdeath is all the empire has left besides the Megazord Imperial Arm. Once they fall the chaos begins oh I'm sure peace happens because I'm sure causing such a violent revolution never has people take control and do the very thing they were fighting to stop...

Which would be a fair point... if said Empire in revolt wasn't in revolt cause like 80% has basically turned against the leadership who are indeed in need of being deposed.

Honest coming out on top would be the ultimate troll ending.

Anyone else find it weird how much of the anime ending the author gave seems to be showing up in the manga.

Well, you could consider the Anime something of a rough draft of the manga ending possibly. The manga will probably go more into detail on certain things.

So yea, I'm fully expecting Tatsumi to die (;_;) against the Ultimate Imperial arms while Akame gets Esdeath as per the Anime. Hopefully they actually bother to explain the former's Trump Card a bit better so its not too much of an Ass Pull.

Budo was such wasted potential.

I know this series wastes characters left and right, but Budo was the biggest offender because he really had way more to offer than what he contributed.

It goes to show you killing characters willy, nilly a great story it does not make.

Had another insane dream

It took place during the final battles, Budo returned and battled Esdeath and was defeated but not killed. Tatsumi decided to evolve Incursio and it came out looking similar to Imperialdramon

So, I finally finished episode 18 in the anime.

Anyone minds if I post here what I think of the manga later?

Also... I'd like to ask... when will Esdeath have her first big action scene in the manga? The few she got in the anime were pretty nice but I wish she got more.

Come to think of it, I might also want to see how the action is in the manga in comparison to the anime.

That answer will lead into spoilers fyi.

Esdeath is so grossly overpowered, calling her confrontations "fights" is a very generous statement.

Only time she comes close to trying is against Tatsumi post-Incuriso level up, and even then it was acknowledged that she was too distracted to focus.

Haven't read it yet, but I do know that in the 24th episode of the anime she and Akame have a fight. Is that anime exclusive or is there an equivalent of some sort in the manga?

At the moment, no. The anime is so far completely original, though the manga is following some events closely.

I loved Akame's fights, and I loved what we got of Esdeath. So....

Maybe I will go back and watch the rest once I reach chapter 34.

Mind, I laughed at Shitsurakuen being included in that list.
