As per title, my Na No Wri Mo entry for this year has a MMORPG setting. With that in mind, I created these classes (at the highest level):

Ultra Novice - Use skills from all classes of previous levels and chain them at a limit of 4 skills.

Sports Manager - I Know Madden Kombat.

Pet Master - Having a pet (of sorts) to fight alongside with the player.

Launcher - Using any launching methods to attack.

Guardian - Using only shields to attack and defend.

Research Officer - Analyze opponent and interrupt any attacks.

Sealer - Setting up traps and attack using them.

Astronaut - Unlimited flying time and powerful airborne weapons.

General - Call units to fight.

Merchant - Use items as weapons.

Meteorologist - Change terrain.

Card Trainer - Use any cards as weapons.

Titan Knight - Sword users using heavy equipment. Slow but powerful.

Cruiser Knight - Sword users using light equipment. Quick but weak.

Death Dealer - Scythe users dealing various status effects.

Pole Master - Pole weapons utilizing versatile fighting techniques.

Cutter - Axe users with armor ignoring damage.

Ricocheter - Melee ballistic users launching their weapons to strike opponents from a range.

Mount Master - Ride any creatures.

Sensei - Katana users utilizing pain inflicting damage. Pain causes charging to reset, and adds cooldown and charge times.

Crusher - Hammer users utilizing equipment destruction.

Mage Knight - Magic users fusing spells into their weapons.

Swing Knight - Whip users utilizing double hit attacks.

Firearms Master - Gun users focusing on continuous shooting.

Boom Master - Cause any explosions.

Visionary - Sharpshooters with near perfect accuracy.

Artillerist - Artillery weapons user focusing on wide and long range attacks.

Destructor - Beam weapons user focusing on multiple hit piercing attacks.

Agent - Stealth masters hiding from enemies and their attacks.

Controller - Machine users controlling machines for combat.

Commissioner - Enforcers utilizing restraint based attacks.

Crawler - Deploying automatic attacks.

Mage Shooter - Shoot magic from firearms.

Short Striker - Shotgun users focusing in near range blows.

Fight Master - Martial arts user.

Shinobi - Ninja with wide range of weapon and skill selection.

Dance Master - Fights using dance moves.

Minstrel - Attack and defend using sounds.

Assassin - Knife users utilizing instant kill moves.

Psychopath - Machete users with randomized movesets.

Titan Fighter - Grapple and smash type moveset.

Geologist - Mining axe users utilizing ground attacks.

Taoist - Turning attack into defense and vice versa.

Ravager - Mace, club and torch users with pain nullification.

Mage Fighter - Fusion of spells into martial arts moves.

Seer - Spell caster focusing on single target and/or single hit spells.

Spell Master - Spell caster focusing on multiple target and/or multiple hit spells.

Warlorer - Spell caster focusing on area of effect spells.

Bringer - Summon any creatures and having them taking over the battle.

Doctor - Directly manipulating hit points and magic points.

Divine Servant - Using pure spell based weapons.

Dimensioner - Casting spells with accurate range based on mathematical formulas.

Element Master - Cast spells with one element only, but with better variety and damage.

Reinforcer - Directly manipulating statistics.

Geomancer - Cast spells based on surroundings.

Undead Dealer - Animate dead creatures and use them for combat.

Among these classes, if you are a character in my story, which class will you select? I'm not planning to use all of them, just around 10-15 (Ultra novice is the class of the main character). I need some ideas of which classes to be included in the novel. Thanks for helping!

I think I would play Meteorologist because it sounds fun to manipulate the environment with weather effects and stuff.

What kind of relevance will the class selection have on the story?

Put me in motion, drink the potion, use the lotion, drain the ocean, cause commotion, fake devotion, entertain a notion, be Nova Scotian

[up]Basically it will affect the characters and the battles than happen in my story. There will be PvE and Pv P battles. However, the plot will be mostly the same.
