I agree. He looks like someone who would worship, rather than be worshipped.
Musician are often more or less worshipped by their fans, but the message I get from this image is more like, "Worship the music!"

Someone needs to explain how this is supposed to illustrate the trope. If anything, it looks like a musician is a clergyman.
