I watch it! Its good fun, pointing out the deeper implications of a lot of modern pop-culture (I'd say that we don't usually think about, but hey, we're TV Tropes. Its what we do.) Witty, intelligent and pretty clever.
I'd say the only episode which fell flat for me was the magic spells/piracy one, which seemed forced in its connections.
Also a big fan the show.
Rarely active, try DA/Tumblr Avatar by pippanaffie.deviantart.comI've only watched three episodes so far, but I'm really enjoying it.

"Here to welcome our new golden-eyed overlords," said Addy promptly.I watch this show a lot! I'm not sure I think that there's a deeper meaning to things in the way he does, but he's fun to watch and the comments are usually of a higher and more entertaining quality than you usually find on youtube.
It feels like many different parts of TVTropes rolled up into one show. Like the ideas are the laconic versions of the tropes, and the show is the deeper analysis tropers come up with and bounce off each other on the page and in the forums.
I think the comments benefit from the direct interaction the commentators can have with the show. Being able to actually get a response directly in the videos probably ensures a survival of the least stupid comments.
How Do We and The Sims Perform Gender?
Basically, gender isn't so much a noun as it is a verb.

For those who haven't heard of it: It involves this dude talking about the larger implications of various aspects of contemporary culture, such as the idea of Super Mario Bros as a masterpiece of surrealist art, or a comparison of Homestuck to James Joyce's Ulysses. Some interesting stuff there!
