It's about as universal a trope as you can get, but you'd have to cite some specific pages where it has gotten out of hand and/or being misused and what needs to be done about it. It is trivia so it shouldn't be on the main page.

TV Tropes, as a general rule, tends to have a "writers good, executives bad" mentality that is not always rooted in reality. So I'm sure that this page has some complaining. But if that's all, unless there's some specific problem areas I'm not sure this needs a TRS thread.

There seems to be a lot of complaining in the main page. Not to mention this gets constantly potholed a lot.
