I think it would fit better (and have more discussion) in the chatterbox thread, this one is kind of dead.

I'm hearing a lot of funny stories about "land sharks" endlessly persuing the player from the sea into the land, eventually resulting in the player being forced to fight it out with a knife against several of those suckers as they try to jump outta the ground at them.
It's still got a long ways to go, though. It's a good price they're offering but it still seems to be in the very early stages of development.

If this doesn't get you ready for the DOOM reboot, I don't know what will.

Game Parodying North Korea's Glorious Leader Hacked, Kickstarter Canceled
Glorious Leader! was supposed to be a 2D SNES-style sidescroller in the vein of Contra, featuring Kim Jung Un and Dennis Rodman fighting against the invading US Army, but due to the devs being hacked the game was cancelled. Pretty much everything they had, ranging from their computers, website and Kickstarter page were deleted and account access locked out. And since the Kickstarter wasn't terribly successful either (they only made approx $16,000 out of their $55,000 goal) the game devs have decided to call it quits and cancel the project. The devs stated it probably wasn't the same group that struck Sony, but they're not totally ruling out the possibility of it being another NK hacker group either.
I'm not sure where this particular post would've fit better in the forums. But given that this game first appeared on Greenlight, I guess it makes the most sense to post it on this thread.
