Wait, what?!
No!!
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.Yup, my reaction exactly. Poor bastard. I doubt very much that he just decided to jump off a bridge without there being something really serious going on in his life, either with his physical or psychological health.
In this ABC News article, they said that Tony Scott has inoperable brain cancer, according to a source close to him.
If that is true, then the suicide does make sense. Still, such a sudden end.
I'd cling to life with every last ounce of energy. Plenty of people out there who don't have that option.
Jonah FalconThat's easy to say when it isn't happening to oneself.
Uh huh. By definition, suicide is the most selfish act a person can commit.

Jonah FalconSuicidal people are well aware that it's seen as selfish, it's just the deed gets done when you feel too broken to care. This is speaking as someone who's tried.
Can't say he hadn't lived his life to the fullest, what with his film career. I was never really a fan of his films (especially not Domino, but True Romance is one of my favorites.
Rest in peace, dude.
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.This honestly came as a surprise for me. I mean now I feel bad for not watching Top Gun.
As for the brain cancer bit. I hope it's true cause then it would make a bit more sense but for now I can't say much except that may he always be remembered.

has anybody played Policenauts?it's pretty Harsher in Hindsight because in that game there are twins named Tony and Ridley after the directors guess what happens to Tony at the end...that's pretty jarring, and the game was made in 1994!!
Watched The Hunger. That movie is haunting.
Tony Scott, the director of Top Gun, Crimson Tide, True Romance, Days of Thunder, and many other beloved movies is dead.[1]
According to the Associated Press, Scott, 68, climbed a fence on the Vincent Thomas Bridge and jumped around 12:30 p.m. One report quoted a coroner's report that said Scott jumped "without hesitation."
May he be remebered.
