It should be out today. Anyone got it yet?

A good writer puts in a lot of details in there story. But a great one gets a story from a single detail.

Not I, but I'll get it at some point as a review code.

Is this game good? It seems interesting and that I might like it but I am not sure if purchasing it now or maybe waiting until the next Steam sale (I have a thight game budget sad).

I've not had much time to play it, but it's a pretty good platformer so far (Dream 2, Chapter 3). Kinda like I Wanna Be The Guy in that you WILL die, repeatedly, and the only real way to figure out how to proceed in some areas IS to die trying. There are a few 1-hit traps, but for the majority, three hits and you die. Your hearts reappear whenever you set a checkpoint, unique in that you decide where, or even if, you have checkpoints, other than the level start. I'd say it's pretty fun, or at the very least, a good time-killer.

Does it have a windowed mode or is it fullscreen only?

[down]Thanks. I guess I'll buy it, then.

It does have a windowed mode, but is fullscreen by default. You'll have to go into options to change it.

I will probably get it if I can run it (sadly there is no demo sad), I should be capable of running it but I was recomended to try a demo of other game with XNA to see if I can run it. Downloading Magicka demo it it works fine I will be getting They Bleed Pixels.

How is the soundtrack?

Every time I run the game, it reinstalls .Net 4.0. Does anyone else have this problem?

Yeah, it did that to me often, too... just stopped after a while, though. Can't say I know why, other than that it may have finally recognized that it wasn't supposed to do first-time setup on the twentieth+ time.

Great so far. Frustrating at times, but that comes with being a hard platformer.

I think I must put some emphasis on "frustrating". That Eternal Engine level combines two things I hate in this game: cling-to-me-side platforms and sawblade timing puzzles.

See that jump? Not only you're hassled by the moving sawblade on departure, you must manage to time your jump in order not to land on a saw on the other side. And if that weren't unfair enough, you have to do it twice.
