Explanation appreciated, but the salient point was the forum guidelines against links without context.

Youtube has, for a change, actually tried to communicate with it's community.

Honestly, it's such a passive response, well, lemme quote Graham Stark from LoadingReadyRun ‏

And like all of Youtube's communication attempts: It's way too late and contains actually nothing in concrete steps.

So Youtube just recently removed a video parodying the whole Logan Paul incident, featuring a fake body and fake blood, for "violating You Tube's policy on violent or graphic content". You really can't make this shit up. Thankfully, it's gotten put back up.

There are copyrighted movies clips on YT with more blood than that video.

You can tell that its fake really easily. It's not even convincing blood. That's just pathetic youtube

Check out what You Tube did about the whole Logan Paul situation.

So apparently, You Tube had cut off ties from Logan Paul by taking him out of his You Tube series. So far, it looks like it's the step in the right direction in handling this situation.

I bet the five people who were looking forward to the Thinning 2 are pretty upset

So a video of nothing but white noise was flagged for copyright claims: http://www.bbc.com/news/technology-42580523

I'm almost disappointed, I was hoping for yet another case of YouTube's automatic copyright claims system being frivolous but, no, this was deliberately filed by sleep therapy groups that use white noise for their purposes.

How do you even copyright white noise anyways? It seems too... erratic and indistinct to really hold ownership over.

That sweet, sweet Youtube revenue.

Coz no one will do it:

1. Youtube kicked him off the Google Preferred Program, where he got extra advertising money as it connect Youtube's top producers with Youtube's top advertisers.
2. They booted him off the "Foursome" show they were producing for Youtube Red
3. They've also pulled the plug on their collaboration for The Thinning: New World Order, the sequel to the movie he made.

You could say the same about throwing buckets of paint at a Canvas, yet look at Jackson Pollock's work.

Agree. If Logan had just called the cops when he saw the body, then none of this would have happened and You Tube wouldn't have cut ties with him. Well, I guess that's what you get for doing the wrong thing in another country.

His mind set was only 'gotta get those views!!' and not 'being a decent human being'.

I can at least take comfort in the fact that it wasn't an actuallly talented youtuber.

knowing what people on You Tube (and the average audience on an "edgy" arsehole like him) are like..... they would probably find sexual assault hilarious

There is a disturbing amount of kids that watch him so yeah, good fucking riddance
