Good lord I was really tempting fate with my previous post there, wasn't I? Bad enough we have people like Tarvotsky, Faust, and the Lord/Miller duo turning down or being turned away work at SPA, we don't need it happening (again, see Aardman) with DWA too... -.-
I really hope this isn't true. Especially since nothing in DWA's upcoming film slate is catching my interest at all save for some sequels to existing works. Animated film adaptations of the Trolls dolls and the "Boss Baby" picture book...ehhhhhh. And those are the non-sequel films we actually have a slated release date for, everything else are projects still in the pre-production stage. A handful of which I don't even think we know what they are about, just their name or their concept.
has a clue, but it's usually not the correct one 0.55% of the timeEhh..Zootopia looks promising, but besides that, I can't think of any movies that really grab my attention.
Anyways, I hope Dreamworks goes through with it as I think the idea has potential, especially if they add hand draw animation to the mix.
Bide your time, and Hold out Hope — GANKUTSUOU Just because it's irrational, doesn't mean it's not real.Zootopia is Disney, not Dreamworks.

I thought you meant just in general. But yeah, Dreamworks slate is pretty sad.
Bide your time, and Hold out Hope — GANKUTSUOU Just because it's irrational, doesn't mean it's not real.I don't think this has been covered? Roughly a year ago, some concept art, a pencil test animation .gif, and some other info concerning the original Me and My Shadow concept were posted by FilmDivider.
A bit of a shame that iteration never really took off, but I bet the Edgar Wright project could be just as great.
...IF it's even still in development, that is... >.>

Then it might be BS, but check just to make sure. I heard similar talk in the Homestuck fanbase about the video game Hiveswap being cancelled, and then a day later they said "nope, still working on it".
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?
