I know we used to have a huge thread on this...
I think I first discovered the site when I Googled "Phineas And Ferb" or something. I know it was back when you could use the username and password of "foamy" to edit pages without making an account. I think that's what caused me to register, when that option was taken away. I don't remember how long it took me to join the forums, though.
EDIT: I stumbled upon a thread that said the following:
If you're having a problem with your password, make sure you have cookies enabled properly.
I know I registered long before then...so nevermind. I have absolutely no clue why or when I first signed up.
