Strato: Ah. I don't know why, but for some reason I thought your post would be directly followed by everyone reacting to arriving at Stark Manor. I guess my mind got ahead of itself and thought I'd posted something for it. Well, anyway, me being a numbskull is common knowledge around these parts, so I'll just get on with it.

Meanken: Understood, I'll come up with something for that too.

By the way folks, in the middle of all this redeeming myself, I had an idea for something, and I might need some advice on whether or not it's worth pursuing. Four words, two of them hyphenated: Spider-Man Visual Novel.

I have been putting off writing stuff because I moved overseas to Amsterdam on Wednesday. It's pouring with rain today so hopefully I can catch up with everything going on and post a thing >_>

I think we should have everyone arrive at Stark Tower. Then everyone could compare notes, it would help get the game back on track.

Just edited the NY post, to set the marbles rolling rapidly in the direction of a Stark Tower gathering and an X-23 + Player Character interaction. Now, couple of brief Hub City questions:

• Meanken, have you already pmed any ideas you'd had for the trajectory of the game? HYDRA's ultimate agenda, that kind of thing?
• Would I be correct in assuming Dblade isn't around anymore? and
• Is Adam Strange to be an NPC, or another operative?

Anarky's plan against Spiral is to infect her orbital HQ with a tapeworm virus that will adapt to whatever defenses it has and incapacitate it; in particular he wants to cut off her access to Mojo (and vice versa.) But he doesn't want her to know he did it. He was going to get Le Fay to help with this, but since that didn't play out he's using a second card: getting a space hero (of those known on Earth- he would have called Green Lantern but his identity is secret even to him) to investigate the satellite so that it will look like it was his doing (in fact dealing with alien tech is up Adam's alley.)

So yeah he's an NPC under GM control not one of Anarky's minions.

How this works out is up to you.

Hey, what do I do with Terra over in Hub City now that Hub City is active again?

Wasn't she with Karate Kid being trained by the Winter Soldier?

By the way, two more Hub City questions: Slade will recognize Larissa as Spiral, right? Also, are we moving forward with the Vandal + Morgan Le Fay storyline?

No idea if I should mention the ship stopping at the hotel momentarily to pick up Rocket's jetpack before hitting up the Manor or not.....

Somebody should give Tony the full history of events since the Ball. Especially why Power Girl was affected by Kryptonite. IF she decides to tell him of course.

Actually, Rogue was looking for approval from the others before she called Access to say that they were coming to Stark Tower. After all, this was a diversion from what they were probably going to do.

Y'know, Liz, if we could work out every character currently in Hub City and what the plans are, I think I could take a shot at G Ming it.

I even bumped the signup thread. I'm really up for it! You've got me super hyped for JA, Liz. (We should bump the other threads too).

By the way, where are most of the group in Megan's ship going? I'm having Rocket tag along mostly to make a stop to pick up his jetpack from the hotel the party was at.

As much as I disapprove artificially bumping threads, I do appreciate the gesture towards revitalising the games, AND the gesture to possibly taking the role of GM.

Well, there's a couple of possible plot threads we can pick up own there. For one thing, there's Superman's suggestion of taking Power Girl somewhere he can conclusively identify kryptonian biology (little excited about the location reveal for that one). On the other hand, there was Megan's proposal right near the start of the day, where she and Darwin visit the Tower of Fate and find a way to switch powers for a day. That one could possibly lead into a plot idea I've been planning for a while.

Say, Demo, are you still interested in playing Tony? I ask because there's three folks in the penthouse looking around for the guy.

Speaking of G Ms playing as people

With certain people being AWOL, is it acceptable to put their characters back on the table for people to sign up as, so to speak? I asked Emily if she would be okay with picking up She-Hulk/Jennifer, for instance.

For one thing, Le Fay's player has been AWOL is several games for a while now. That's why I switched off to using Adam Strange for Anarky's plot. However since she's technically still a big player in the city, the GM or someone else should take over her.

If I GM Hub City, I'd definitely pick Le Fay back up.

@Lizard: I'm still up for it; you'll have to PM me about stuff Tony might know about the Hellfire Club.

Just began a discussion with Meanken about plans for the future, and it looks like the HMS Vandal/Le Fey will be sailing for a while yet to come. 'course, regardless of whether that was the case or not, I wouldn't have wanted to let that plot thread gather dust. The two will certainly continue.

My sincerest apologies to all the actual scientists in the crowd.

Also, I just remembered all the plot lines we won't be able to continue due to dropped characters. Like the Winter Soldier's Titans, or Hisako in the police force. It's... a shame, really. Kinda wish we could get the whole gang back together.

I kind of wish that, in the middle of Slade or Two-face's speeches, one of the Manfredis brought their robot crashing through a building.

But seriously now Strat, great job- especially on the "reverse polarity" thing. Anachronisms are ironically something that Time Travel story writers don't often handle well.
